The Landing has been one of our top favorite restaurant in our area. We went today and had not been back for several months. We... were informed that the previous owners had sold the business a few months ago but we were willing to give the new owners a try.The perigees were great as always but our meals were awful ! My burger was very dry and the onion rings which I paid extra forwere way over fried. My husband had the July 4 chicken special and he could not eat it it was so dry. Tea was extremely weak andthe lemonade did not even taste like lemonade I had to order a soda instead. We complained to the waitress and her answer was ?Iam so sorry? never even asking us if we wanted something else. We told her we would not be back and she again said I am so sorrywe felt that way. She didn?t even offer to exchange the weak tea!! I just crossed this restaurant off my list of good foodplaces. And by the way our bill was $48!!! I could have gone to Jesses in Brandon and would have had a much better meal for $48! Read more
First time back since its re-opening. Food was still pretty good. We had perogies, beer battered fish with tots, fries, and... coleslaw. I will say that the onions on the perogies could have been cooked/grilled quite a bit longer. Macaroni salad wasmistakenly put on the fish plate so we got to taste it. It's actually pretty good. We also ordered lemon pepper chicken wings(not pictured) and fried fish nuggets (not pictured). Our service was good. Read more
The food was really good. The flatbread with the thai chili sauce was the best! The place was packed so service was a little... slow, not sure if that's a usual thing. They were also out of 2 of the desserts we wanted to try which was really disappointingbecause the Elvis cake sounded amazeballs! But we went for the chocolate lava cake and it was delicious. I didn't want to cook on a Monday night around 11pm, so I headed to the Landing. They always have a game on with great viewing... at every table. I was open as to what to have, so I ask my server Tasha and she said "the Caesar Salad" with the chickenblackened. The Caesar had lots of tasty green romaine and large quantities of chicken. From all the positive things I have heard about this place I was excited to check it out. So to start I had the wings because... the waitress said they were known for them. Low and behold they were fantastic and cooked to perfect with right amount ofsauce. The big fish plate was average. The shrimp I upgraded to were super salty (they were blackened) and the fish was supersoggy from the breading and oil. The mac salad and cole slaw was average at best that came with it. I would go back to thisplace for the wings but wouldn?t get the fish platter again. Read more
EXCELLENT FOOD...fresh...homemade...not pre processed ...HUGE PORTIONS..Never been disappointed This visit we had the Friday... fish and shrimp special...our plates were LOADED! it was worth every penny... the fish was hot and crispy fried toperfection....massive fried shrimp were perfectly done...plate was loaded with fries and homemade Cole slaw and macaroni salad (not a fan of macaroni salad....but THIS I will order AGAIN!!!) Always wonderful service! Very nice selection of localbeers....full service bar too! FYI bring a sweater if you get cold easy....they keep it tooooo cold at times...but better coldthan hot...lol Read more

First time visit for me. Stuck with something simple, wings and fries and beer. Service was adequate. The place reminded me... of Beef's when they first started out. The Nuclear Wings were spicy and not overpowering. Fries were were crispy and fluffy onthe inside. And the beer was nice and cold. They have a great selection of domestics and imports. They also have wine. Theplace was packed when I went but there was plenty of seating. There's even outdoor seating. I noticed some games outside aswell. Four stars for now. We'll see how it is next time for that last star. Definitely I would recommend this place. Read more
