You'd think it a biker hangout but I haven't seen any. The food is really good. Fairly good portions. There is quite a few... choices for hotdogs and other types of foods. There is a real bar, TVs sports bar style. Heavy duty wooden tables inside andsmall outside eating area. Read more

Ordered the Gouda Burger w/ Fries. Cost: $16!!! Came with 2 thin meager slices of Gouda cheese, waitress doesn't ask how you... want the meat cooked, and it was very dry and well done. I prefer medium rare, especially if I am paying a ridiculous amt. $$$for a burger, I should be able to choose how its cooked. Lettuce and toppings were nothing to write home about either. Thelettuce was minced up even, like at McDonald's EWW! The bun was good and fresh at least. Again for $16 I would anticipate apresentation worthy, not just the same as any burger-stand you would pay around $8 at! Bathroom smells too. Has a weirdunappealing scented deodorizer, and resembles a gas station bathroom, with a men's pee bowl to suit! Dining tables are nice butchairs are way to heavy, and screech & scratch floors (EEEEK!) when you try to get in/out at the table. Very difficult! Need toadd some chair pads to the feet or something! Service was nice, nothing special, but decent. In general, way too much $$$ forwhat is offered. Thumbs DOWN. Read more

We were looking for a place to eat in the area and found this via google maps. The menu was super interesting with homemade... pickles, chips and many other items. With it being in California and our "current restrictions" we weren't sure if they would beopen. They were, and very welcoming! Our waitress, Wendy, was charming and so eager to explain anything on the menu. We orderedoff the special menu, the Prime Rib Ciabatta with housemade chips and off the normal menu the Western burger with housemadefries ???????????????? We were so happy with our choices and can't wait to return!! Prices were ridiculously amazing btw. Lovethis place and can't wait to try all the different items on the menu. Read more

Great friendly service and delicious take on food. I've been to Wallace area quite a bit this summer helping my parents... replace the deep well pump and other ranch work. There is a wide variety of "cuisine" in west calaveras that rivals places inBay Area and along the coast. Just widely separated by miles. This tucked away restaurant had mouth watering fresh garlicfries and chips that came with real tasty burgers. The walnut shrimp was a unique taste. They also had 11 beers on tap. Thewaitress, Eva, was very friendly and attentive. Read more
