so just called ... girl answered ... started telling her my order... asked for a pretzel bun LIKE THE MENU HAS AS A... CHOICE??? ... she made a noise like it was a problem and hung up...i called back and she picked up the phone and hung up again..definitely a LOCALS ONLY / GOOD OL BOYS place... not only will i no longer be going to this place our 30+ friends wont begoing from valley city too.... do to the numerous stories you guys have about how you treat anyone else you dont know... talkingabout people from out of town or dont LOOK the valley city part. Great option if you are staying at one of the local hotels. Food was good, standard bar food. Prices reasonable and service was... pretty quick considering they were fairly busy, even at 8p. Read more
Spent 8 months inside, would be nice to sit in the patio but nope, that's ok. Closed on Sunday's? Missed opportunity since no... place else in the county is open other than J&L's in Sanborn. Never tried the drinks but the burgers are great, lots of frozen fried food that well make it yourself at home, nothing to brag... about. Really like how the place looks with giant doors for fresh air, the staff is always friendly and it is always clean.Decent place to visit but order the homemade foods and skip the frozen fried stuff. Also wished they would stay open later andwe would visit more often if they did. Read more

Unexpectedly good! Just burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salad and apps, no real "entrees". Was packed full at 6PM on a December... Wednesday night with construction guys, locals and even what appeared to be an Association meeting of some sort. Megan was ourserver with an amazing and infectious attitude. She killed it! The burgers we top notch, fast, fresh and tasted great. For acouple of traveling salesmen, the food and a beer, it hit the spot. Read more
This place was pretty good. There are some peculiar menu items, and a bunch of really great ones. Chips and salsa appetizer with... a panini sandwich or wings for lunch kind of place. (Literally, quite the mix) Wait staff was attentive, but not overlyhovering. Read more
