Reviews for Country Junction Deli in Valley Center, CA
Horrible breakfast, the ham is just their thin sliced lunch meat and the hash brown is a store bought frozen patty, extremely... lazy and not tasty. They can easily do better and choose not to, go anywhere else for breakfast Read more
Stopped by this place for a quick bite while I was around Valley Center. They had a sign that service might take a whe due to... being understaffed so yes, it might take a while for a small meal. I will say it's a bit on the pricier side but portions arepretty good. I got myself a croissant sandwich with turkey and avocado and 2 cupcakes. The sandwich was jammed with delicioustoppings and thankfully cut too!! I got the jelly roll and red velvet cupcakes which were both very yummy! Their seasoning onthe fries are soooo good! The interior of the place is super cute, giving country deli vibes! Staff is also very friendly andpatient with accommodations on food! Read more

The food was good and everything but it was expensive food for something that was underwhelming.. and then the cashier happened... to be stuck up and rolling his eyes at me and used a strange tone while saying "a Pina colada ok" when I ordered a Pina coladaand got even worse when 3 guys, I'm assuming the oldest guy was the owner? But he has a young teen with him and another olderman with him. My brother and I were enjoying our food Wich is paid ahead of time. And noticed the owner and his two ppl weretalking and laughing oddly and aggressively loud to display something? then we noticed the owner locked the door so when wetried to leave he asked if we "paid our dues" Wich was weird because to get the food you need to pay ahead of time.. and then hewalks right up to us asking again and as we're unlocked the door we te him yes and then he tries talking to us afterwards usinga condescending tone and phrases when we were leaving. On my way out the young teen gave me a snarly face Wich I don't know why?We are two totally regular guys not trouble starters and we don't look like trouble starters. Very weird overall experience. Insummary the food is ok but it's overpriced. The service is just rude without any reason at all. The owner is also a weirdo. AndI would definitely not recommend eating here. I'm also a security guard so I'm not one to exaggerate my Enterpretations ofexpressions tones and action Read more
The sandwich was the most expensive I ever paid like $15.. for a Philly sandwich, insane. I found something chewy in my meat..... had to spit it out, the sandwich was okay. The place was clean inside tho. The cashier didn?t even say hi, welcome, or anything.I approached and he stayed quiet, :/ idk try it yourself folks and let me know. Read more
Accessibility: pretty accessible place! They have disabled parking, the parking lot is paved and flat ground, and all flat... ground to enter the building. The door to enter is a single pull door. There is seating inside but it is all high tables (notmade for wheelchairs). There are a few tables outside, under a covered patio, with moveable chairs and wheelchair accessibletables. Experience: the food here is pretty good! I really enjoy the turkey sandwich and grilled cheese sandwiches. The kidslike the hot chocolate! Masks: masks are currently mandated in California, and all the employees were wearing masks, but noneof the customers coming in and eating inside had masks. Read more
Stopped here for lunch on the way to the snow on Palomar Mountain. Although the decor inside is nothing fancy, the four... sandwiches we ordered were very filling and so delicious we had to take a bite or two before taking photos! Read more
