This is a fast food type restaurant. You pay, tip and then they call you to pick up your food. You will not get served. The food... is a hit or miss. The saba shioyaki is not bad. The beef teriyaki has a good taste but texture is bad. It looks boiled or stirfried. The portions are very small. Be ready to order extra if you are hungry. You help yourself to ice or hot water outside.It?s a nice clean location to have a simple quick meal. Read more
Ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl?from the taste of the first bite of chicken?I was unsure if it was fresh. So I tried dipping... it in the little bit of sauce that was left in the box after it spilled out into the bag. I was not impressed. I was unsure ifthe sauce was masking the taste of spoiled cooked chicken?so I tried it with the rice?and behold a piece of black hair!!! Iimmediately threw it away and was grossed out. NEVER AGAIN!! Most food here are delicious. No Cali Sub Dragon had the perfect balance of avocado, unagi, deep fried prawn and rice. The side... saba on the big platter looks and tasted bad. The Saba Shioyaki meal itself tasted better. Lion King rolls were yums. Will orderthat again. Poki was made in the basic style yet it?s fresh and delicious. Read more
I was skeptical because I am really sensitive to fish products. Since summer I tried their chicken Katsu and my husband tried... their fish and told me their sashimi and products were fresh. After tasting it, I started order there but today the maki deepfried I took were not fresh at all. First bite my tongue and mouth started to itch, which is the reaction I usually get whenfish products are not fresh or not well conserved. A little bit disappointed. Read more
