Great food and wonderful service. We had the NY steak and the peppercorn steak - both were lovely. Also had the apple crisp with... ice cream. The servers were friendly and professional- all of them were helping each other out. Lot of space with severaltables. Read more

We returned after being here 15 years ago. Decor hasn't changed. I had the 6oz prime rib. Came with mushrooms and great mashed... potatoes ????. Our server was friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant for a great dining experience. It wasvery busy by 5:30. As we were leaving, waiting area was full. Read more

We went there for dinner last night for my husband's birthday. Everything was spectacular! The food was amazing & our server,... Laurie L. was attentive to all of our needs. The main menu is pretty extensive & so was the dessert menu! We would definitely gothere again if we were in the area! Read more

We are staying in the area and decided to have dinner out. This restaurant was a fantastic choice! First off, they accommodated... our group of eight without batting an eye. Secondly, my husband has a dairy allergy and just asked to have something removedfrom his order as it would probably be cooked in butter, and his order came with it having been cooked in oil instead! Sograteful for thoughtful servers and cooks willing to switch it up to accommodate an allergy, without us asking. The food wasdelicious, and obviously the service was outstanding! I highly recommend stoping in for a meal! Read more

A lovely restaurant. Far better than you normally find a such a small town. Clean, fresh and open in a beautiful log building... that feels bright and yet cozy. Service was exceptional, menu was diverse except for deserts. The meal was well prepared, andproperly plated and served. Prices were reasonable for the level of service, and portions were good. Fine dining with qualityfood at a fair price. Read more

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Great service from the moment I walked in, to the moment I walked out.... My waitress was very busy, but always extremely friendly and made sure to check on me and the rest of her customers to make surethat you were always taken care of. The building is a very nice log type with nice decor. I was immediately greeted with thearoma of garlic and herbs as I walked in. Now the food... Absolutely amazing. They start with a garlic cheese bread. The mealcame nice a swiftly. I got the 8oz Prime Rib Roast, with mashed potatoes, mushrooms and sautéed onions. It was cooked med well, exactly how I like it. I highly recommend this steak house! Thank you for an amazing dinner! Read more

Amazing decor with great atmosphere. Staff was really friendly and the food was really good. We took a tomatoes herb soup which... was amazing and onion soup which was had authentic French taste. We had as main course New York stake and fettuccine carbonarawith bacon. Both were very good and had a lof of flavor. As drink i took a strawberry daiquiri. All good there. It can bequite crowded so a reservation may be useful or you'll have to wait. Around 5.30 we waited about 10 min but we were only 2. Read more

We loved this place! The decor is classic and timeless, rustic western theme cabin feel. Very well maintained and cared for.... You could not replace this style again, so a certain level of appreciation must be had for how its been maintained over theyears. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The service was above and beyond. Our waitress was attentive, caring for children andunderstanding to a severe allergy to insure we were safe. We had a larger group (family of 7) and received perfect serviceduring a dinner rush. The food was awesome, it's more a traditional home cooked meal at grandma's rather than a resturant and Imean that in a good way! My wife doesn't like mushrooms so they swapped out for steamed broccoli with a cheese sauce (which wasdelicious!). Also they bring fresh baked cheese bread before your meal and it was perfect! Specialmentions/takeaways 1.Homemade horseradish sauce, it doesn't come with the prime rib but I happened to ask for it and it's a musthave! Maybe best I've ever had. 2. Go for the full size pasta, its delish and worth the bigger fee, would also heat up welllater for left overs! 3. They don't advertise that they have ginger ale on menu but they do :) 4. Try to save room for dessert,we didn't but saw a neighboring table did and regretted not ordering the cheesecake! 5. The kids mac and cheese is actually boxmac and cheese (kids loved it) but don't order if you want something more. Thank you staff, chefs and management for makingwhat was to be a simple night stay in valemount as we drive home an experience to remember! Read more
