We were passing along Valdosta, needed to stop & have lunch. Found this place on Yelp. We were not disappointed! Great service-... staff were so friendly! We had the chopped brisket dip - loads of meat on the bun with melted cheese & mushrooms, the sidechosen was baked bean. Brisket was so tender & flavourful, baked beans had chunks of meat, sweet but not overly sweet. 1/2 bakedchicken with 2 sides - that was the juiciest chicken with great smoked flavour in it. Sides were fried whole okra, the battercoating was very good, with a touch of coarse salt on it, crunchy on the outside, not slimy at all. The beast sandwich was verygood too, ordered a loaded tater totes with pulled pork Brunswick stew was intriguing, do we ordered a large bowl, it was loadedwith Lima beans & pulled pork & chicken with veggies?. Very tasty with a touch of vinegar taste. The soup was tasty & verynicely done. 2 meat with 2 sides - pulled chicken with sausage, mac n cheese & fried okra All the food was good, we are veryglad that we stopped here. Read more

We had a great meal on the outdoor dining area today with our puppy Conor. Brisket French dip was the pick! Thank you Leisa.

I have been to Smokin? Pig, and now, Woodstack; I have to say, Woodstack gets my vote, hands down! All in all, just a better... experience all the way around. Better service, better food, and better atmosphere for a comfortable dining experience. Read more

We got an assortment of items to go. You could really taste the smoke in the meats, which may not be for everyone. I loved the... brisket and pulled pork. The full fried okra was also a nice change from traditional cut okra. The mac and cheese as well as thebeans were good. They also have burgers and a full menu of other items to try. The one plus over the BBQ competition down theroad is the size of the sides, they are almost double! We will defiantly be back again. Read more

I went here for one reason alone and that was because they serve burnt ends. Not sure what burnt ends are? The best... description I can give you that it is the bacon of the beef world. I also had some of their St. Louis spare ribs. Both meatswere very tender and had an excellent smoked flavor. My one side was brussel sprouts with bourbon honey glaze and the otherwas the mac and cheese. The brussel sprouts were a little on the sweet side and the mac and cheese was nothing special. Theyhave a nice happy hour from 3:00 to 7:00 though. Our server did a great job and the pricing was lower than some other barbecueplaces but I would say that is because portions were slightly smaller. There's plenty of other things on the menu I'd like totry, so I'll be going back here next time I can. Maybe I'll see you there. Read more
