Great service, sat at the bar where we were treated great. Tender recommended drinks that were delicious & food very nice. The... fish, wahoo, could've been cooked just a bit less. It was super as it was with the best veggies alongside. Read more

Enjoyed the captains platter with shrimp and grouper. Both cooked perfectly and the cheese grits accompanying were spot on. Not... overly salty but seasoned well enough i only added a little black pepper. Service was great as well. Read more

Arrived for dinner was seated pretty quickly. Waitress was more concerned about another table of friends then she was taking our... order. Ordered 1/2 dozen oysters and when they came out they were all smaller than a quarter (no Exaggeration) on the menu itstates that you have a choice of oysters location and of course I choose oysters out of Florida?s coast. The rest of theAppetizers came out after the main course. Both Main courses and appetizer were lukewarm at best and the hush puppies wereburnt. Have visited this location one other time and the service and food was great but needless to say we won?t be back. Read more

Food was delicious! I ordered the salmon with corn and fries. We also ordered the shrimp which was great as well. We had the... loaded queso dip as an appetizer and it was good! The only thing that we were not pleased with was our alcoholic beverages(strawberry fields), it tasted like a watered down sprite. Definitely will not order that again. Other than that everything wasgreat. Waitress was very nice. Overall pretty good experience Read more

This was my first visit for dinner on a Saturday night. The Salty Snapper is a really nice restaurant, clean with tasteful... decor. Not sure why they built it so close to the railroad tracks. Staff was young, professional and helpful. Everyone wascasually dressed, which is my kind of place, reminds me of Southern California beach towns. We sat on bar patio outside, wherelive music was playing. I ordered two pulled pork tacos for $11, a little pricey but really good. My wife ordered the nightlyspecial, ravioli and steak for $25. Not a good combination and a definite do not order, I tried it and found steak over seasonedwith salt, the ravioli was over done and did not care for filling.. I reordered her Baja fish tacos, they were excellent. Keylime pie was good, but not in my top 10. I would definitely recommend this place, but order from regular menu items,. Read more

Stopped here while passing thru Valdasta and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Luckily arrived at 5pm when in opened and seating was... prompt. Good thing because the place filled up quickly. A vibrant place with a great outdoor bar and dining area. Music andatmosphere was good and the staff was attentive and friendly although kitchen was a little mixed up and slow. I had the rawoysters with a wedge and my wife enjoyed the salmon with a side salad. The bread bowl was saltine crackers, a fun twist. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and big screen TVs. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next time we are in the area. Read more

Truly a 5 star place, or should be! The fact that they know that they have a building that blocks signals and then do not... provide the customer any access so that they can even be notified on the wait list via their chosen text program, this programis horrendous and absolutely danaged thought we mismanaged thoughts, in large just mismanaged by ownership and subsequentmanagement. The food was wonderful, the servers and the bartenders especially were in the weeds the entire time we waited morethan 15 minutes for "not-the-bartender" 2 come over and at least talk to us and then he immediately got us a beer or 3 three.Beyond that, The same dirty tables that we that we walked in to find and sat at the bar near ?which were for dinner guestsonly) not bar use remained dirty the entire time we were in the bar and also remained dirty the entire time we ate dinner it wasalmost 2 hours before before those tables were actually cleared so the place was clearly in the weeds and probably understaffedlike so many others are from this scamdemic Read more
