Food tasted very good, everything was fresh and hot. We ordered cheese sauce for fries for 2 of 3 orders at a cost of $1.25 only... to be told when I picked up the order that they were out of cheese sauce. 2 beeping alarms were loud for at least half of ourvisit. 35 minute wait for a simple two combo meal order on dine-in. Was ignored by staff for minutes when trying to get ketchup.... Restaurant and bathrooms were absolutely filthy. Clearly understaffed. Food was OK, hot at least. Read more
So, my wife and I went to this S&S for the second time. The first time we went was a sadly depressing experience, but we thought... maybe it was a fluke. Sadly, it was...The second time was much worse. The tables were filthy, not a clean table in the place.The order was messed up, food was sub-par and service was nonexistent. What happened to S&S? The real plates, silverware andglasses and waiters/waitresses were what set them apart from the other fast food places. They need to just close it down. Wewill definitely not be back. Ordered via the drive through. The gal that took the order did a good job, verifying by repeating the order and at the window... the order we correct. Friendly staff at the window and the order came quite quickly. Food was hot and tasted good after a longday of travel. Highly recommend this location. Read more
I was traveling with a friend and we were starving and decided to stop at S&S. I don?t appreciate self service ordering.. then I... had to clean my own table off to be able to sit. The place was so under staffed the chili lunch and FF my friend and I orderedtook every bit of 30 minutes to get from the kitchen. I feel sorry for the lack of management and staffing. The floors aresticky and there is a very strong smell of a non food item I can?t place my decision on as to what it is!! Please proceed withcaution attempting to seek nutrition here! Happy eats! Not sure why there is always an issue with this restaurant, but ordering in the drive through is never easy or fast (And, I... understand they advertise they cook to order, but there are restaurants you can go in and eat faster than ordering from thisrestaurant). Today, I pulled in line behind two cars and was stuck for over 20 minutes waiting to order a milkshake. I finallymade it in front of the order kiosk and waited for 17 of those minutes. After I was asked to wait, and did for 17 minutes, Iasked if I could order and was told to wait a little longer because they were having some issues, so I left with five more carswaiting behind me. Maybe these customers will have better luck than I did. I left and drove to the Arby's down the street andordered a shake and was through with shake in hand in less than four minutes--and two cars were ahead of me. Read more
Was surprised to find self service menu screens to place your order as opposed to talking to a "real" person. Was simple enough... to figure out, and I felt like there's no mistaking how I wanted my burger dressed???? In spite of the cashier crash course, itwas a pleasant experience. My burger was the best I've had in a really long time, made exactly as I ordered. I highly recommendthis restaurant for it's cleanliness, accuracy in food prep, reasonably short wait time and the delicious food. ????? Read more
It?s sad how they have converted to kiosk not for myself but the older generation. I sat there and seen 2 customers turn around... because they didn?t know how to use Kiosk. Steak and shake with no shakes, ok. Then my single bacon cheese burgers (2) came outwith no cheese, bacon, lettuce or tomato. I was given a cold cheese and bacon in a fry box to add myself. ????
