The restaurant is a down home establishment living up to it's name, Bubba's Crab Shack. Our waiter, with the nick name Bubba was... great! He really hustled taking care of all of his customers getting their orders to them, and also continually cleaned tables.He was really efficient at what he did. When we arrived at the restaurant an employee was sitting on the front porch. Heimmediately jumped up, opened and held the door for us, making us feel welcome. We ordered the Shrimp and Crab leg combo platterfor two, and the fried pickles. Everything came out well prepared, and pretty quickly, and there was plenty of food. We also hada couple of beers and they were ice cold. We would definitely eat there again. Read more
We tried this restaurant on our road trip based on the reviews and we're glad we did. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and had... some excellent seafood. The seafood did not disappoint. We started off with a dozen raw oysters. I am South Dakota, so it is hard to judge them. They... were large for my standards and were yummy. For a main course I split the shrimp and crab boil for 2. For $43 I thought it hasexcellent value and flavor. My colleague had the snow crab, ($65 market price), no complaints but seemed slightly steep. Maybeask for market price before ordering if you are concerned. Amazing food Cole Slaw was even exceptional! The onion rings were spot on! So lightly breaded and flavorful! I can?t eat seafood... so I was pouting until I got the best wings I ever ate in life! Hubs and MIL had the low boil which is basically everything butthe kitchen sink and they both had a dozen oysters! They stated all seafood , potatoes, corn, sausage crab and everything wasdelicious! Our first time eating here. The food is very good and they are inexpensive. My only complaint would be the seasoning is heavy... and is just dry powder poured on everything. Next time I will ask for the dish without all the seasoning. Other than that it wasdelicious. We got mozzarella bites (Appetizer), Snow crab legs, boiled and fried shrimp, onion rings, and hush puppies (Entree). Read more
