So much history in this beautiful Louisiana cafe. The beignets are a must have. Fruit smoothie was thick and full of fruit... flavor. I enjoyed walking around the shop looking at the photos on the wall. Read more

This ended up being one of the best random and surprising highlights of our whole trip to New Orleans. The beignets are the best... around, and the coffee is unbelievable! A lot of care is also put into the history and folklore of the area the cafe is in,complete with a history walk and beautiful outdoor seating. If I lived in the area, I would go there all the time! Found a hidden gem in this quaint coffee/sweet shop! Outside seating under majestic oaks with a nice breeze from the river adds... to the charm of the place. The frappes are great and these beignets are so light and airy that you forget about calories!! Thepralines melt in your mouth and the tea cookies bring back wonderful memories of days gone by.
