This was my first time and Buckhorn BBQ and I was warned that it wouldn't be great and I still chose to go. Upon arrival you... pick your table with the host, they'll give you a number and then you can order your food. There are a lot of options on themenu and it took us some time to choose. There were plenty of staff waiting to take our order. We ordered the 2 meat feast withribs and tri tip side of Mac a cheese and sweet potato fries. Our food came out and looked appetizing outside of the Mac ancheese. The tri tip was good, the ribs were meh, the sweet potato fries were average, and if I return I will not order than Macand Cheese. It works for some, but not for me. Their specialty teas were on point. They do have a full bar too if you want tohave a drink. The atmosphere is family feels. Plenty of people came in parties of 4+ to have dinner. Seems like a reallypopular place. Recommendation: this place is a Strong Okay. Like I would eat her again, I would recommend it with a warning,but I've had better bbq places and this isn't in my top 5. Read more

First time eating at this establishment. Place was busy but not overcrowded and staffed appropriately. Clean and inviting space.... I ordered take away. The Mac n cheese was better then any other I can recall in recent memory. Corn bread good enough but neededanother couple minutes bake time and proportionally to rest of meal best described as a corn bread nugget also know as ahushpuppie. My platter had "tritip" and pulled pork. Pork was ok and the tritip was very chewy requiring cutlery toconsume. Looking for a happy hour spot in Vacaville? The Buckhorn BBQ has several local beers on tap. For a large beer it's $7 during... happy hour. The salads are freshly made and delicious. I would recommend sitting at the bar, so there's no wait. If the date isgoing good, walk across the street to the nut tree shopping center. Customer service: Greated with a subpar welcome. I was told they could help me at their cash register with zero enthusiasm.... Considering I was the only one in line and about to spend a ton, the welcome could have been better. Asked if a half chickencame on the two meat combo, their response: I think so... No attempt to find out. I asked them to put the football game on oneof their 3 TV screens that were all turned off. Was told, oh I don't know how to do that. Had to go to what seemed to be theshift leader to get a TV turned on. Food Quality Food was served cold. My personal preference is for yellow Mac and cheese notwhite. Read more
