Lack of communication on things they are out of, and there was paper mixed in with the turkey. Other companies don?t seem to... have a problem notating which ingredients they are out of on their electronic ordering system? something as simple as a stickynote would?ve been helpful. Staff was rude. We didn't realize they were closed because the doors were still unlocked. The girl we dealt with was rude and... snippy. My sister is here from Utah and loves your bread. Sad that people have to act like that. The staff comment was when wesaid the doors were open "well the bakers need them open". Again so sad. We?ve patronized the Boudin in Vacaville since its opening and have always enjoyed the warm and friendly environment, great... service, and the food was always delicious. All that changed on 9.13.2022. The employees on duty were arrogant, seemed angry,and it took over 30-minutes to receive our order, even though the restaurant was virtually empty of customers. The food wasbeyond disgusting. The French Dip sandwich was cold with only one piece of meat that resembled something off the floor. MyClassic burger was the worst and so shameless in appearance and taste that I refused to consume it. We asked to see the manager,but no one ever appeared. We are very disappointed and have shared our experience with others. We don?t plan of returning! Read more
Ordered the chicken club. They made my sandwich without chicken. I informed the server, she had the kitchen remake my sandwich.... Second sandwich was without mayo and the bread was over toasted. My wife's sandwich (turkey avocado) was fine. I'll mostlikely give them a second chance, but no time soon. Read more
Was wonderful coming back to this restaurant while in town. Staff was friendly and didn't rush us as they could tell we needed a... moment to decide what to have. The clam chowder was good and bread bowl made my day!!! They were even kind to give us an extraloaf of bread as they were getting ready to close us as he had order one to go. Read more
Always a good to restaurant. 2 item menu is always good with favorite being clam chowder and a side salad. Served with a... sour dough dinner roll this is good for either lunch or dinner. Good food with great service. Read more
They certainly made a good effort but the food wasn't quite up to par. The southwest veggie burrito was ok and was tiny! I've... had better frozen pizza as well compared to theirs. Turkey sandwich was average but the chowder is always consistently good.Service was excellent and friendly. I like the self service fountain drinks which had a good variety. Purchased 2 French dip sandwiches ($14 each) and they barely had any meat on them. These guys aren?t even trying. It?s so... frustrating when they do this kind of thing on a pickup order, and you don?t discover it until you get all the way home. Can?tsee myself giving this place any more of my $$ in the future.
