The whole area i could see was nasty. Tables, floors, windows, counter, the front area of where the workers serve from. Only two... workers that I could see were wearing the proper uniform and only one had a hair net on. There was a order taker that wasexcellent. Spoke well with other customers and myself. Multi tasked really well. The bisque was on point. My tenders had verylittle meat. And Mac & cheese looked disgusting but tasted all right. This franchise needs to step up their game. Do not order from this restaurant. This Popeye?s has horrible service. I?ve ordered from this location several times and my... orders are always missing items. This time I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender combo with the mac & cheese and some sauce. Ionly got the tenders and my drink. Never wasting my money at this place again. Read more
Went to the New Hartford location, which is a somewhat new location. Unfortunately, the staff were not welcoming at all, and... they definitely were not pleasant. I felt as if it was a bother for them to take my order. On top of that, they got the orderwrong, which wasn't difficult... it was 2 combo meals, nothing strange. Another customer also had an incorrect order whoexpressed that he had had the same issue the week before, and the person working the register got very rude with him. The two ofthem continued to raise their voices until the customer left, dissatisfied. The food wasn't as good as our maiden trip shortlyafter the locations opening. So much so that we agreed we don't need to return. Sad really. Add in a wonky driveway situation,which actually provides a little entertainment while you're eating, lol. Hope things get better there. I've never had Popeye's before today, but my fiance and I got their spicy chicken sandwiches and OH MY GOSH..the chicken... "patties" were enormous, the pickles were fresh, and the SPICE...the spice was out of this world, we were both sweating and hadrunny noses and we tolerate spicy food very well..so this was awesome. The food was hot and prepared pretty quickly, I have nocomplaints. Read more
Politely asked for sauce, got the window shut in my face and was told I was holding up the line when there were obviously no... cars behind me or lines inside... I was given a sauce and I just smiled and said thank you. Not sure if the employees had a badday, but that was totally out of line. Food was soggy and room temperature, not as good as when they first opened or at otherPopeyes I've been too. Been here multiple times before since i actually like Popeyes once in a while and was always leftdissatisfied every single time... Would not recommend this place. Whoever is running this franchise should learn how to run abusiness and become a leader. Read more
TERRIBLE service at the counter! I visited Popeye's in New Hartford for the first time last week! The female who "waited" on... me appeared to be inconvenienced by my presence, and her nonchalant "whatever" attitude was NOT what you'd expect at anyrestaurant, even fast food!! The chicken sandwich I had was cold, and the fries were also cold!! At least the Coca-cola wascold!! I've eaten at Popeye's before, and unfortunately, the New Hartford Popeye's leaves a LOT to be desired! Sorry for the 1star review, but since I believe in telling the truth, I cannot give you a better rating, given the circumstances!! Short version: Quick and friendly customer service. Hot, fresh, and delicious food. Long version: Don?t usually do the Fried... Chicken thing, but wanted to check out the hype. They are brand new, so crazy busy! They still do a good job on getting you outas quick as possible. Expect long waits until things settle down though. Giving 4 stars because we ordered Spicy Tenders but gotregular instead. I didn?t want to wait in line and they were still tasty. Also, the containers of slaw and Mac and cheese couldhave been filled a little more IMO. Other than that, I can see what the hype is about. I don?t even know how KFC is still aroundthese days after trying Popeyes. Mac and Cheese is way better than KFC. The Coleslaw was unique. I think it had dill flavoringin it. It was still pretty good. Only been open a few days so knew there would be a wait for our large order. We enjoyed our wait as we watch thee employees get... everyone else's orders. Took about 20 minutes. Got home and found our order was not as we had requested ???? but there wasplenty of food and it was delicious. It will get better once training is all done and employees feel more at ease. Will goback again and get they items we weren't able to try. I see a old future for this Poppy's location. Highly recommend - Giveit a try! Read more
