My go-to spot for sushi!! These people know what they?re doing. I always order the Las Vegas and Dragon Roll! My weakness ????... lol so delicious!! I read all these positive reviews and thought I had to try this place. Unfortunately it wasn?t great. Appetizer we had... calamari. Literally no flavor at all. Even with the dipping sauce they gave us. Had 2 sushi rolls - one was bland and one wasokay. Umi sushi kills these rolls My wife and I got the hibachi for our meals. Another flavorless meal. We made the mistakeof adding spice for $1. Like they dumped a whole bottle of franks on it. The chicken was over cooked, the steak wasfatty? Spent over $100 and left my leftovers. If you are looking for hibachi go to Osaka or Ichiban. Wanted to love thisplace. Read more
Speedy service!!! We had our dinner in about 20 minutes. Friendly environment. Not as busy as some of these other hibachi... places. They don't cook in front of you but that's OK. Excellent food. I don't think word is out there that Sunrise Hibachi isopen! I think more people would be coming!! Read more
This place honestly deserves the praise it gets. I'm usually skipping over 5 star reviews to get an honest opinion about a place... before i try it out, but there were only a few less than 5 stars. Mostly talking about slow service, which wasn't my experience. The food was great, service was friendly, and the place was clean. If you want a show, go to Ichiban, but for me, Iappreciated the quiet place where i could eat and mean mug the wife sitting across from me, who kept trying to steal things frommy plate. Over all a very good place. Just disappointed that I sub salmon for shrimp, got charged and the picture shows how much shrimp... was in the actual roll. Everything is always great there though!! Read more
Ordered the lunch portion of the teriyaki shrimp. It was a huge portion that included white rice, noodles, and two dipping... sauces with a salad.
