We're here from Texas for work and was strolling theu town and I decided Mexican food (and I'm a picky mexican food person) this... place is on POINT. Service was quick, but not very friendly. $8 for a basic mixed drink. Food was just OK. Salsa with the chips was bland, salsa... with the tacos was extreme, like 5 star hot. Carné asada was dry, and was missing that good marinated flavor. $23 for somemediocre tacos and a standard mixed drink. Not for me. Read more

They have a new menu as of April 2022. This was one of the restaurants I "adopted" during the Covid closures, and I tried to go... by a few times a week to get at least something TO GO (even if it was just chip and dip). There are hundreds of carbon copyMexican restaurants in town, but this one has always had great friendly service. And strong margaritas. Read more

This was our first time here and definitely will not be last! This place has excellent food and service. I absolutely loved... their red salsa. I got their happy chicken and he got the birria tacos. My chicken had such good flavor. And birria was one thebest I have ever had. I highly recommend trying 10/10 Read more

Passing through town. Looked up a few local restaurants to try for dinner. Stopped at El Patron and DID NOT REGRET IT. We were... escorted to a seat the moment we arrived on a Friday night. Chips were hot, salsa was tasty. Food and plates were piping hot!Had the best horchata I've ever tasted. Chicken quesadilla was exploding with very tasty meat. Tacos were A+, pico added anamazing burst of extra flavor, and waiter was great. They were busy enough that we did wait a bit for our check, but this is anabsolute must try. Excellent overall experience. Other notes, A bit of a drive off the freeway but well worth it, easy to find,small parking lot, but easy to access. No steps in making it easy for wheelchairs and walkers. High chairs for kids as well.Excellent quality for cost. Read more
