Service was fine. Ambience is nice with the open air concept. Had to only give 3 stars due to the pricing. I was charged 75... cents for "rocks", and yes I'm talking about ice here. My wife's drink had an extra $1.50 added for peach flavoring, and to topit off another 3% surcharge for using a card. We were pretty astounding to say the least. Read more
It's sad how the attitude of 1 waitress can cloud an otherwise cheerful atmosphere. To our waitress, please be mindful that... there are other bars but we try to support local establishments. On that note, we will NOT be returning to this place anytimesoon. She was short with us, got our drink orders wrong and confirmed that our hot wings were garlic parmesan when the twopresent in two very different colors. I am leaving 2 stars because your fellow waitresses came through when seeing our disgust.Perhaps you were having a bad day. I've been here three times, twice for drinks and once for lunch. The atmosphere is great and I love the drink choices. The... food is okay. For what I was expecting I was just disappointed. You can definitely get better food elsewhere. Read more
Take a bite out of this place! I have no idea how Blue Shark swam into Urbandale but I'm glad it did! Our seat on the patio was... delightful - just like our server. Every entree I saw looked just like the menu photos. We attacked the Blue Shark, California, and Rise and Shine burgers like a pack of Great Whites in a feeding frenzy. No burger survived. Read more
Stopped here the other day for food. The wait staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. We had ordered some wings... to share and then had their chicken sandwich - Both were just... OK. Chicken was kind of rubbery and lacked flavor. Cool placeto watch a game or have drinks though! Read more
I was not a fan of the food here. We got the loaded waffle fries as our appetizer. On the plus side it was a lot of food. The... downside is it wasn't all that great. The waffle fries weren't seasoned and then they put so much sour cream on it. Wescrapped over half of it off and still were choking on it. Our friends that we went with ordered a salad and asked to haveshredded cheese on it. We were told no because they didn't have cheese. Even though the appetizer is loaded with it. Thebiggest miss was with our entree. We order a chicken dish with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli in a lemon sauce. What wegot was a gumbo looking dish where everything was mixed together. The mashed potatoes were like glue and had no taste and therest of the dish was swimming in liquid. We will probably not be back again. ???? Read more
Brooke is the best! She is attentive, efficient, and very friendly. She recognizes her regulars and takes good care of them. At... the same time she is very attentive to everyone at her bar.
