I tried this African restaurant on 31Aug22. I ordered jollof rice and beef but they only had lamb. When I got my order, there... were about 6 pieces of lamb, plantain that tasted like they were made with rotten plantain and the jollof rice was horrible (ittasted like all spice). This restaurant is no comparison to Kings and Queens. I will not be wasting my money patronizing thisestablishment EVER AGAIN. Oh, and my cabbage was old. I would have given a rating of -0 but it wasn?t an option. Read more

This place is great and I strongly recommend it! The food is high quality and the Jollof rice in particular is some of the best... I have had in a while! Fanta the owner is social, friendly and welcoming. She has ties to Wassoulou and plays classic tunes fromthe region giving the place a great vibe. I will be coming here more often! Read more

This restaurant is very stingy with meat. They give you lots of carbohydrate with small protein. How am I supposed to eat a lot... of jollof rice with very little meat? I also ordered fufu with light soup. There?re were only 3 pieces of goat meat in there. And they charge $20 for each platter. So I paid $40 for very little meat. I also said I don?t want cabbage or any vegetableswith my jollof rice but they added it anyway. They don?t follow customer orders exactly. I do not recommend this restaurant. It?s more expensive than other ones and isn?t worth the price. Read more

This is the BEST African food I've had since I've lived in Philly. I am Nigerian, but do not like spicy food. This is the first... jollof and fish I've had that was actually to my liking. They give you a super spicy sauce you can add if you want, but thisrice was perfect for me already. The young woman at the counter was extremely kind and helpful as I asked questions about themenu. The onions on the fish were delectable and the portion size was well worth the price. I will definitely be back again! Read more
