They are so polite, clean, respectful, and giving when talking about the service. Also, the food was fantastic. The chicken... tikka masala was so authentic and it was the best sauce I've ever had. Best halal Bengali food very family friendly and the owners are very kind . the good smelled so good and taste. Staff is so... incredibly kind and friendly! Would come back again 10/10, highly recommend. It's a no frills joints: fantastic, well-seasonedfood!! We had beef, chicken, lentil, rice, samosas. A lot of food for both us, very big portions, probably could have beensatisfied with less haha but everything was so delicious Read more
You accepted the order thru grub hub, gave an estimate time and even the face and name of a driver then canceled without notice.... I had to contact grub hub to find out it wasn't late but canceled instead....what makes it ridiculous is you are walkingdistance from me, you use your own drivers and this is not the first time my order never showed and/was canceled without notice.Which is fine bc I posted a pic of another resteraunt that not only has great food and excellent service but they respect andcommunicate with customers. Are you looking for some good pizza and some good grilled food? You have to come visit Al-Safa! You won?t regret the visit. I... came here with my wife and we were welcomed right away by the manager and team. We were offered some menus to take a look at. Ialready had an idea of the menu because they were handing it out at the local Omar masjid after prayers. Right now as I writethis review I have to tell you how good and tasty the food is. The chicken over rice is that official NYC halal food! Ourchicken sandwiches were really good as well extra juicy and extra tender. Overall everything was outstanding! Again if you wantgood food come to Al-Safa! Read more
4 Star rate still stands. 5 star for service. They people there are awesome and will correct any errors. Updated with... photos: Lamb shawarma pita gyro. Was not made with pita but looked like a quesadilla wrap. The edges were hard and it fell apartbut I still ate it. They do not make Italian hoagie so I opted for a turkey hoagie. I received what looked to be a ham hoagie.I didn't complain seeing I was hungry. If it was turkey it was salty like ham. Casaer grill chicken(cajun) salad. Sometimes Ireceive extra items like cucumbers, onions, peppers and hard boiled egg. Other times just like it's supposed to be made. I tendto not finish when I see something else in it. Either way it's still good! Cheese steak pizza ????. I loved the fact that it'snot as oily as with other places. My husband and I think Chicken Jalfezi, tandoori chicken and spicy veggie curry dishes areAwesome! We order loads of food from here and love the garlic naan too. They serve what I would like consider the perfect crispyfrench fries but you don't always get your food how you thought it would be prepared. Read more
