What would?ve been a 5-star review is now a 2-star mixed review. Had great service, pizza and beers at Pointe when the waitress... mentioned she wanted to cash out our group since she was heading home. All good, cashed us out but somehow misplaced my creditcard (never found). Not the end of the world, but I had already ordered another beer from the new waiter?Rather than comping meone draft beer (I couldn?t pay because they lost my card), he made one of my friends pay for the beer to cash me out. this is a fairly basic bar with 2 pool tables and not much else. the photo on google shows a selection of food that is no where... to be found in the menu. Feels like a typical college bar Read more
Easy going and casual is the vibe at the Pointe Tavern. Not really a fancy drinks sort of spot, more a solid beer and classic... mixed drinks location with chill staff. Great place for an after work happy hour. Read more
Bartender didn't know the difference between gin and vodka. Or tonic vs soda. Asked for G&T and received vodka and soda. Twice.... Apparently she was more interested in doing shots with her friends than pouring drinks. Lots of TV's for sports which is nice.The whole place could use a major cleaning. Grubby feel to the whole place. Tables sticky and cloth bar stool seats are justgross. I wanted to put a towel down before sitting on it! And the women's restroom is probably a health violation. Broken stalldoors and filthy floor, walls and toilets literally crusted with "residue". Clearly hasn't been cleaned or maintained for avery long time. Outdoor seating is nice tho! Read more
