FANTASTIC experience, well worth the price! Took Mom and Dad there for their 50th anniversary, and it was an evening to... remember. Private soundproofed room and attentive waitstaff - both taking the orders and serving - made it feel like a veryfancy event. A nice variety of dishes to choose from, but not overwhelming. Something for everyone, and everyone left stuffed tothe gills and satisfied. We had 14 people in our party, so it was amazing that all the food came out all at the same time, hot,and correct to each person. Every single dish we ordered was made with the highest quality ingredients, from the dips to thecheese rolls, to the salads, to the chicken sandwiches, to my lovely, exquisite, succulent piece of sea bass. Hands down thebest piece of bass I've ever eaten, anywhere. Cooked to perfection. Generous portions, but again, not overdoing it. Hudson 29really has found a great balance between quality and quantity. Drinks flowed copiously, and they were also made with style andbalanced proportions of alcohol. I had a "honey and whiskey" and it was unique and strong but very yummy. Don't forget to trytheir bite-size pineapple upside-down donuts, made fresh to order. Tasty burgers, excellent service (Kara, this means you…). By excellent service I mean our food order was taken promptly,... things came as ordered, Kara did not interrupt our conversation with rote questions but kept an eye on us in case we neededsomething. My first time, met a couple of co-workers for lunch. I had the Red Snapper Fish Sandwich and side house salad. The bun/bread was... soft and perfect, but I didn't eat it all, the fish was absolutely delicious, the side salad was a very generous portion, thedressing was good, very very tasty overall. Aretha was our server and she was attentive at all the right times. She helped melook for an outlet to plug my laptop up and plugged it when we came across an outlet. Very pleasant and patient. Really enjoyed the food and drinks. All things were delicious! The service left me a little upset. Felt like we were forgotten... on the patio. Only saw our waitress every 15 minutes or so and our drinks orders took about 10 minutes to arrive. I'd visitagain but hope the staff is more attentive to our table. Read more

Love Cameron Mitchell restaurants. Tonight was first time at Hudson 29, which is a reinvention of American Cuisine. The... environment is darker, candle lit or low lights and very romantic, rustic and a modern feel to the whole place. They have thelargest wine selection I've personally seen at a restaurant as well. Entrées: Got the Prime Rib Au Jus and substituted forroasted Brussel sprouts instead fries. I personally didn't care for the texture on how the prime rib was cooked but understandthat it's common, which makes it tender. It was a bit too pink and chewy for me as well as I'm not really a red mean eater andthe Au Jus didn't do anything at all for the sandwich which was surprising. My son got full BBQ rib rack, other fam members bothgot the Rigatoni Bolognese, which they loved. For appetizers we got the cheese rolls (probably best thing I ate allnight..these are outstanding and pictured) and the charcuterie board. Surprisingly, the charcuterie board wasnt it for me either(I am not a picky eater and love a good charcuterie board) but didn't care for the cheeses, type of salami, or the tomatoes oralmonds and would have chosen a different appetizer if up to me. For desert we got the pudding one I can't remember the namebut had heath, icecrean, chocolate and like a cake/custard type bottom pictured eith candle for my moms bday. I got thePineapple Upside Donut Holes with Carmel dip...WoW! Pleasantly surprised by the donut holes as I don't really like pineappleupside down cake BUT these were fried and dusted with a sugar coated outside (taste and texture reminded me of elephant ear andfunnel cake mix from county fair) with a warm, moist, vanilla flavor with very small pineapple/brown sugar tidbits, NO cherriesand you don't even notice the pineapple anyway because of the other flavors. I chose this resteraunt for me and my fiancé’s date night. I must say this was an excellent choice. We were greeted and... seated quickly. Two staff member ensured that were were treated with excellent customer service. The cheese rolls came out ofthe kitchen fresh and hot. For our drinks we both had a delicious sangria made by talented bar tenders. And for dinner we chosethe ribs. The ribs were so delicious. The slab was filled with flavor and fell right off the bone. Along with this we had Frenchfries and coleslaw that i eventually replaced with French fries because I can’t stand coleslaw. Overall the experience wasamazing. We chose a great day to have dinner because it wasn’t crowded, we had privacy, and the scenery was amazing. I lovehow each table has a lit candle and a display of many wines. We chose a Thursday to visit, so if you decide to go on theweekends, don’t expect the same chill crowd. A lot of people eat out on the weekends, so wait times everywhere are usuallylonger and the waiters,waitresses, and bartenders are usually more busy trying to serve everyone. I'm very thankful forreceiving the attention that we got from our waiter and waitress. Remember to be kind and always thank the people who areserving you. First time at Hudson 29, Friday night and they were pack! My husband got prime rib (no photo) and I got sushi, I like the... Hawaii Five-O a lot but the spicy Tuna was a little fishy, I also changed avocado to cucumber. Everything was good and tasty,we also got fries for our appetizer ????, our waiter was busy talking with customers and it took us almost 15mins to order somefood.
