I'd like to recognize the manager. The gentleman was personable, polite and very helpful to his staff and customers. The... gentleman was all over the place helping out by answer the phones, taking orders, cleaning tables and assisting customerswiththeir takeout orders. Went in on August 26, placed my order. Waited... waited.. and waited and still no food came out. Told a worker and it turned out... the cashier didn't put my order in, no be deal. So, I'm assuming the manager told me this and he had placed it in right and toldme that he'll refund my $26, cool! Service is great and food was delicious. Well, the reason for this post is because you can'ttell someone that your going to do something to make up for the mistake and not come through. Its bad business! Food is decent but i had a special request that was nothing too crazy and i was willing to pay the extra couple bucks but they... wouldn't accommodate my request. Just wanted fish tacos but sub the kind of fish inside with another kind they have on hand. Won't be coming back on future trips to the area. Read more
Really good food! Service was excellent, we asked the cashier several questions regarding the fish selections and sides and he... was able to help us make a good and tasty dish. About 10 mins later, we were presented with two delicious meals, nice sizedportions. Totally enjoyable, we will be back. Read more
Food great! The price is awesome for fish! And kids food is great! Only thing I wish they had for kids was more veggie options... maybe broccoli? But other than that no complaints! Love it Okay 11months later... And now the review is different. From 5 starsto 3 stars. Price is still good. But the taste is a bit plain, my wife, son and I immediately realized this once we startedeating. The skin on my wife's salmon was a bit too burnt for her taste, but I did ask for well done salmon. I ordered the Seabass, not bad but not enough sauce from the new hawaiian BBQ sauce. Speaking of which. OMG must ask for the Hawaiian BBQGlaze!!! I don't know why they don't have this as a sauce to put over the food! But It does come as a dipping sauce for the newshrimp but yes! A totally must have to try if you haven't. Little of a let down to be honest from a family driving 5 hours tovisit and going out of our way to grab delicious food. Another 1st for us, and we loved it! Date Night with my beloved. I had Shrimp and Swai Fish on a bed of zucchini with sweet... potato fries. My wifey had a fresh, tasty shrimp salad with a delicious house sauce. Ooh and a side of coconut shrimps. Youplace your order, they provide you with a buzzer while you take a seat and enjoy sweet fellowship with your company. When you'recalled, you get your food, fresh and hot. I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I love good fish and chips. Unfortunately California Fish Grill underwhelmed. The breading was... light and crisp, but lacked any flavor. The fish was listed as "white fish" instead of cod and had a heavier texture to it thancod. Before arriving, I mistakenly thought the grill was a restaurant, but it is actually more of an upscale takeout place.There is seating but you order at the counter. Many items on my order were forgotten and I had to keep returning to the counterto get both items that were forgotten as well as items that should have been included automatically (like napkins andutensils). The clam chowder also was nothing to get excited about. Overall, everything was adequate, but not a place I would goout of my way to return to. Read more
