Delicious! I ordered from Doordash last night and it was so good I drove 45 min round trip to eat it again tonight! The corn is... basically a spiritual experience. I'm definitely coming back. Only issue was both orders there was a small error, no huge dealtho. The first one I got a corn instead of fries which thank GOODNESS I did or I wouldn't have known how incredible it was. Andthe second I got the wrong sauce on some of my tendies. Don't care tho, it was all so good, I ate way more than I should andregret nothing. Read more

My husband and I tried Sauce the City for the first time tonight. He said the service was good and the food was ready when they... said it would be. My husband really enjoyed his Kool Ranch Sandwich and corn. I loved my corn. Now let?s talk about my chickenwings. The wings are breaded, undercooked and they just weren?t good. The Cilantro Buffalo sauce was ok but they can probablyleave that flavor off the list and save a little money. Overall, we would get it again just not the wings. I?ll try a chickensandwich next time since those are known to be good. Read more

Edit: Thanks Chef Vick and crew for explaining what happened and for the do-over. Take two was 100% more impressive and... delicious, and I get what you're all about. Hot juicy and delicious, and the corn was on point. ****** Original: First andlast time visiting. Had the Cleveland hot chicken with street corn for takeout. Corn was overcooked and mushy as was the bottomof my bun. Chicken was okay but there was a pinch of kale slaw and the sandwich amounted to chicken fingers in Red Hot. It'snot like my food was sitting around getting mushy since I picked up at the minute I was supposed to and they bagged it from thekitchen. Maybe it was an off day but it's not like the place was kicking enough to put out food like this. If this is rated the#1 chicken sandwich in Cleveland as it's advertised we should all just become vegan because nothing matters anymore. Subparquality with high price doesn't add up. Read more

It was OK, won't get it again. The chicken was overdone and dry. There was a good amount of sauce but that didn't help the dry... chicken. Buns were thin and cheap. The flavor was ok though. The corn was loaded with toppings and had a good flavor bit wasalso overdone/sat out too long so it was mushy. Overall not worth the price. Lots of different local chicken places in Cle andthis one isn't up to par. Read more

OMG. I thought I knew what a good chicken sandwich tasted like. I was wrong. The chicken sandwiches here are absolutely amazing.... The side salad I got was probably one of the best salads I have ever had. It was super sweet and the vegetables worked well withthe salad. My mouth is still watering from just thinking about it. I got the Kool Ranch sandwich with a side salad. My partnergot the Smoked BBQ chicken sandwich with the corn. The corn is awesome. Read more

I stopped into the Sauce the City today for lunch with a friend since I'm visiting back in town from Phoenix. It was recommended... by a bunch of people as a MUST VISIT in Cleveland. Let me tell you, the SAUCE in this spot, did NOT disappoint! To start thelocation is great! There's a stunning prime view of the downtown skyline straight out of the storefront windows down thelooking Detroit-Superior Bridge. The high ceilings and alternating brick walls adorned with colorful artwork create a fresh"trendy" clean-cut urban vibe that make it a versatile spot to throw a party, have night out with friends, or just grab a lunchand hang! The food however was the main selling point. I saw Chef Vick behind the counter creating the work of art that was mySmoked BBQ chicken sandwich and street corn. Living in Phoenix now, street corn has become a staple of my diet, and this is someof the best I've ever had! The sandwich had the perfect balance of sweet and savory with perfectly cooked chicken that had anice crisp! Check the photos! It was incredible! My friend had the crispy portobello burger (he's a vegetarian) and he was alsoblown away by the flavor! These sauces are unmatched! I was extra hungry today so I also grabbed a spicy chicken pizza with aranch drizzle. It had the perfect amount of heat and was cooked to perfection. I brought some home to my mom, who isn't even afan of spicy food, and she devoured it in minutes and asked where I got it If you're looking for a new entrant in the chickensandwich wars that blows away the competition.. SPRINT to Sauce the City before this place is famous! Read more
