I was only in Canada for a very short time and was really missing that dim sum scene. Things just aren?t the same anymore since... the pandemic. Casa Victoria really scratched that Sunday yum cha itch I?ve had. First impression, this place is set up to dobanquets and events. The decoration is flashy - they?re not short on chandeliers haha. Parking wasn?t an issue as it?s locatedin Markham Town Square. Let?s get to the food! You order through their menu and the servers bring them to you. Would be greatif dim sum carts are a thing again. The food is definitely pricier than what you?d find elsewhere but the quality is good. Iparticularly enjoyed their grilled cuttlefish but everything on the dim sum menu was delicious as well. You want the best dim sum recommendation in Markham !? Say Less. Tucked in between a plaza that has a grocery store and TD Bank,... you will notice the purple banner of Casa Victoria. You will be impressed by the dim sum and how efficient everything is. Did Imention the cups are actual tea cups and not the small ones that barely hold anything. The line will get busy in the morning socome early. Everything is good on the menu and it may help to have a Chinese friend to catch a waiter. Best dum sum in town. It is high end but worth the prices. Pecking duck is excellent also. (Top 3) But be warned the... Pancakes for the duck are made in house and thicker than other palaces in gta. I like go after 1:30-1:45 on the weekend whenit gets less busy. Read more

Just had a wedding reception here, the food was not too bad, the manager who took care of the wedding wasn't too professional,... but he and the entire team took red pocket money from the wedding party already. So I understood the food ordered was for 9people but for our table, there were 11 people! You could still serve plates for those who were seated, how the food was sharedwasn't their concern but at least gave out the utensils right? That's common sense! the food is very good here! i ordered 6 things with a final total of around 50 dollars. one bad thing to notice was that i had... initially placed an order of 7 items, but one thing i ordered was missed when being rung up, so the final ended up being 6. thisplace was quite busy at 11:30am, and some of the waiting staff were cleaning and rearranging utensils a little loudly. thewashrooms are relatively clean as well. Came here Sunday 11 am. Made reservations. Seated immediately. workers spoke some English. Ordered food on a sheet of paper and... dim sum food arrived pretty quickly starting about less than 10 min for the first dish. Had the chicken feet, shumai, egg tart,bun with custard, stir fry Noodle and shrimp dumpling. Good portions, classic presentation, good value. In and out in 75minutes. Definitely would come again. Casa Victoria is definitely one of my favorite places to get dim sum in Markham. Prices are affordable and food quality is... consistently high. Service can definitely be a bit spotty at times but the absence of wait lines and great dim sum keeps mecoming back. Must trys are definitely the red rice rolls and the deep fried taro dumplings. Amazing place for dim sum, always enjoyed it here, no questions asked. Last night, decided to try this restaurant for... dinner. Well distanced tables, they do check for vaccination and ID, which gives peace of mind when dining here despite lots ofpeople eating here. However my experience here for dinner was so-so. When I made a reservation in person the day before, theyforgot to take it down and ended up not having a table at the time of arrival. Then decided to order the meal for 2, which camerather slowly because of the banquets in the larger rooms. Overall food quality was not that great with the exception of thesweet and sour pork, the free promotional chicken that we came for wasn't exactly great tasting, almost felt like it's made sometime ago, and the chicken was pretty dry despite the sauce.
