Nice atmosphere, but felt rushed, and the food was mediocre at best. Not worth paying $60 a person for a drink, a shared... appetizer and dinner. Do they put scallions on everything? The food is drowning in sauce. My companion liked their tuna. Icould barely finish my whitefish and left a pool of sauce on the plate. Read more

Hostess is mean as usual. Why can’t you greet people with at least a smile? Then there is the food. Trust it to be wonderful??... The quality of the food here has gone downhill for the last 5 years with no changes in sight. They really need a start over.Great location, great interior and layout but come on! Change up the menu please and take some pride in the quality of your foodand how people are treated. So disappointing. I’ve been a long time customer here and I am done. I never do this but thepeople in charge need to know and take some action. Soon before people completely write this place off. Read more

This place is nothing to write home about. Seeing the prices and other reviews online we expected good food, a nice atmosphere,... and boy were we wrong. We had a 7:15 reservation and told the table would be ready soon, no problem waiting usually. It wasthen the hostess moved on to seat the couple behind us who also had a 7:15 reservation and they were seated right away with nowait. Our server was very stoic and rushed us through ordering our drinks and food. We waited for our entree for OVER AN HOUR,our waitress didn’t check on us or apologize. I’m not sure if the kitchen was backed up (was not busy) or if she forgot toput our order through, I know that does happen as someone who works in the service industry. The young men and women filling thewater glasses were more attentive than our server. We had a gift certificate because we were celebrating our honeymoon and ourserver acted annoyed that we would be using it, saying she had to check with her manager to “make sure they allow this”. Shebrought us the check and just threw it on the table without a word. I genuinely can’t believe there isn’t more 1-2 starreviews for this place. If you’re going to charge these prices have friendly staff and a nice environment; the restaurant wasstifling hot inside and the service was incredibly underwhelming. So dissatisfied, disappointed, and just sad we spent part ofour honeymoon here. The only reason we are leaving a 2 star instead of 1 star review is because of how yummy the Brussels sproutappetizer was for us. Read more

It was alright. It’s not the servers fault so I won’t complain about that, but they definitely aren’t staffed to fit both... their reservations and walkins. We had a reservation at 7 and I walked to our car at 9, leaving my husband to wait for the checkbecause I was feeling sick. And we had just been served our entrees by then. I got the shrimp au vin, which I was expecting tobe roasted shrimp over linguine and a cream sauce with Parmesan (as the menu states). Instead I got shrimp over spaghettinoodles with cheddar cheese and plenty of shallots. Maybe if it was what I had been expecting I could have enjoyed it more.. Ialso got a side of asparagus and it wasn’t worth it. I can tell they love their soy based flavors. But bonus points forloving dogs? Edit: my husband wanted to make sure to include that the lemongrass chicken was really good so get that if you dochoose to go Read more

Timothy's is a beautiful restaurant, but they clearly are not staffed for the number of reservations they are taking. We were... able to make a reservation 2 hours before. We were seated right away but other than filling water noone came to our table for30-45 minutes and only did when we flagged someone down. The server was kind, and we ordered everything right away. It took20-30 minutes for drinks, another 15 for appetizers, the soup never came till requested when the meals came, and our secondround of drinks came after the main dish. Sadly, the quality of the food was also lacking. The appetizers were very good andthe dips were excellent. The whitefish was under seasoned but cooked perfectly. The salmon and shrimp were under seasoned andover cooked. Again, the problem seemed to be managerial and planning, as the wait staff was kind and competent and the chefshad to be overwhelmed by the number of customers. Our perception was that the amount of customers made it impossible for thetalented chefs to keep up. We were there for 2.5 hours and it is expensive. Read more
