Disappointed. I finally got to come to the frog pond restaurant this year, my family couldn't afford to take us growing up. The... employees barely acknowledge you, it smells bad, looks dirty. I didn't even want to finish my drink. Got really bad vibes. Whenthe place finally opened the beach the slide was fun. 1 star for that. They can't find lifeguards to work so it's never open. They are open! We got to enjoy a drink in a cool place while enjoying a beautiful view on the lake. Pontoon boats were... everywhere. Will be going back to eat, and enjoy the beach. Fair prices on drinks. Friendly workers! That's a bonus. Read more
Our server did the best she could. The kitchen, on the other hand, did not. Our food took about an hour or so. An order of 10... wings came out with 8 (was still charged for 10), a different order of wings tasted like grease not butter and garlic. As thefood was finally delivered, we were told that they ran out of the food that we ordered for our kids. (That would of been nice toknow before the rest of the food was brought out). Very bad experience! The owner/manager did not even come to our table toexplain or try to make things right. They left that to the poor server. I worked in the hospitality business for over 16 yearsand would be completely embarrassed if I ever worked for this restaurant. Read more
Clearly an example of people running a restaurant without a clue as to what they are doing. By far the worst experience I have... ever had at a restaurant. The drinks were made wrong, the food was made wrong, and it took nearly three hours to get everything.We were a party of eight but the place was not busy at all, and if the food and such had been great I would have understood itbeing a bit slow. To top things off when we complained about things, the manager told us without a reservation we should haveexpected things to be this way. I simply shook my head, apparently it takes a reservation to cook food and make drinks properly. Read more
The steak was more fat than meat... not happy. And if you have 8 or more people you'll get charged 20% more. Waitress was good... service. It use to be a good place to eat... Won't come back. Read more
me and my group of friends (we are all 16 and have jobs to help pay for cars and other things) we don?t have much spare money... but we decided to support the local business and pay the 14 dollar fee to ride one slide. then it rained and we all rode aboutonce or twice and they closed it because of weather. and being responsible teens we asked for a refund and the ?big man? keptwalking away and saying it wasn?t his problem and he didn?t control the weather. basically acting like we were human beings hewas being rude about it.
