The Food, Service and atmosphere was Great. Customer service from the moment we walked in was superior. Our waitress also... recommended a few items and answered all our questions. Backyard Bayou most definitely can get my money again. Read more

I was really excited to get food from this restaurant because I'm a big seafood lover. I took the food Togo thinking that I... could eat and enjoy this in my own comfort quite a distance from the restaurant. I was wrong. I pulled out all the food stillhot. Most of the seafood was over cooked and some of it was under cooked. The garlic noodles were very over cooked and starchy. The thing with seafood is that all seafood doesn't cook at the same time. Also the butter sauce that was tossed with the seafoodwas very muddy and did not taste fresh. It felt like the noodles had been precooked and kept in a warmer then recooked with thegarlic. The food was completely inedible. I decided to call the restaurant and ask for a refund and was not given a viablesolution. All in all the customer service was also lacking. I really wish I could give this place a zero star review. Read more

Best Cajun style seafood. Food quality is just awesome. Backyard style hot sauce is pretty good. Cajun chicken wings are nice... too. No silverware. Table with paper is where food served in plastic bags. Different dine in experience. After pandemic pricesare bumped up drastically specifically on family buckets. Evenings are crowded specially for group of 6+. Read more

The first clue we weren't going to have a good experience was the greeting we didn't receive when we walked in the front door. ... My dad was in a wheelchair and the front entrance was crowded with chairs and a table. He was barely able to fit through onlyafter moving a chair. We got seated and the waitress took our order. After returning with our food, she asked if we neededanything else, I asked for lemon slices. The waitress never returned with them and pretty much avoided our table. Never returnedto check on us. Not even eye contact for us to flag her down. We just finished eating and was able to flag her down to ask fora to go bag and the check. Even then, I had to walk the church up to the rear counter to pay since she was busy chatting withthe other employees. That's my complaint on the service. We ordered 2lbs of shrimp and a pound of snow crab legs, steamed riceand garlic noodles. The shrimp and crab were barely edible and seemed like they were on the verge of being spoiled. The shrimpmeat was very difficult to separate from the shell. It was almost sticky like. Same as the crab meat. It wasn't just me thatnoticed. My dad and brother made the same comments. The white rice was also undercooked. It almost felt like I was eatingoatmeal. The garlic noodles were the best. No complaints. Overall, I would never return to this place to give it a secondchance. Worst dining experience ever. I hate leaving bad reviews unless it's something that really got me upset. This is one ofthem. I spent over $100 here. I'm writing this review the day after I visited. Just in case I got sick, I would've documentedit in this review. Read more
