Really neat place with friendly staff. We had dinner here whilst in the area. Vegan options are available. Husband had the... turkey dinner and I opted for the mystic river wrap minus the cheese and horseradish and we both really enjoyed them. Food wasfresh and hot and our waitress was awesome. Books line all of the walls and each person gets to take three books home! Reallyawesome idea and nice to see something new. Restaurant was very clean and had some items (T-shirt?s, mugs, cards) to purchase atthe front area. They also have books for sale downstairs if interested. Recommend if you are passing through or in the area.Great atmosphere, great food, great service. Read more

Good food. Cozy environment. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Easy access to and from I-84. We sat at the windows facing... the bird feeders and counted just under a dozen different species. And..... FREE BOOKS with each meal purchased (lots to choosefrom; mostly old library books from which we found some interesting biographies). Read more

The food was good all American fare, and the waitresses were wonderfully friendly. I absolutely adored the combination of food... and bookstore. Shelves of free books beckon you to explore their content. You get 3 free books of choice with your meal. Ichose 2 sci fi and a romance. I also purchased a bundle of 5 books by Shakespeare for $3! Definitely stop in if you'retraveling. A bibliophile's dream come true. ???????????????????? Read more

I'll preface this with it being our destination to check out. We went about 4pm on a Monday and there wasn't a lot of people... there. There are shelves of books everywhere to check out. We were quickly greeted and sat at a table over next to the windows.Sam came over and was cheerful and polite asking if we had been there before. She explained that we each could take 3 books withus when we left , took our drink orders and left us to peruse the menu. We decided on an order of the poutine french fries tostart which were absolutely delicious. We ordered pancakes (both blueberry and chocolate) and bacon and a burger (the godfatherwith pesto, bacon , caramelized onions, mushrooms and cheese) with onion rings. Everything was delicious and cooked asrequested. Now maybe the best part was how excited Sam was to make a sundae for us. We got a brownie sundae and it was trulywonderful. Two large scoops of ice cream , whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a couple cherries sitting on top of a warmgooey brownie. I would say Sam is an ice cream artist. There was a lot of care put into everything I experienced there todayand it was just a nice change of pace. The pricing to me was reasonable for the products I received and the excellent servicewas a bonus. Read more

This restaurant is also a bookstore!!! Or maybe the bookstore is also a restaurant? Either way, it's a great concept and pretty... unique in this area. My cousin and i came in around 11:30am on a Saturday morning because we wanted breakfast, but they stoppedserving breakfast at 11 so we had just missed it. We looked at the lunch menu and decided to order some burgers instead. Ipicked the Mark Twain, and my cousin chose the Firecracker burger. They came with fries, cole slaw, or chips, so we both wentwith fries. Both of our burgers were so delicious, and the fries were a good choice. The Mark Twain was more of a sandwichsince it came on rye bread, but it was still good. Our server was Lydia and she was the kindest server I'd ever met. She wasextremely patient with us, answering all our questions and providing great recommendations. She made the entire experiencewonderful! Read more
