I don?t normally dine at places with less than 4-4.5 star average reviews. I made an exception for this place though because it... is so close to home and it has a vegan menu! When I went there for lunch there was 3 staff members working and one party. Theservice was prompt and efficient. The food was 3.5 stars but I bumped my review to 4 because they have organic/nonHFCS ketchupat every table and you can pay with your phone by QR code. I got the tempeh Ruben. The bread was lightly toasted so by the timeI got to the second half it was a touch on the soggy side from the sauerkraut. It?s the only restaurant for miles around withan actual vegan menu. I want them to succeed I really do. Perhaps if they started cooking with local ingredients and added somecolor or pizazz to their plates? The restrooms are clean and well stocked. They have a/c but it was not running when I visited- just one small fan. I get it electricity is expensive and when you have 3 parties dining for lunch you gotta cut costssomewhere? I dig the interior of the restaurant. I could totally see Quentin Tarantino filming an epic movie scene in the veinof Reservoir Dogs in this establishment. I?ll be back - there is still several items I want to try. Read more

The Worst Food Ever! We ordered a gyro ($11.99) and a gyro deluxe ($15.99) the only difference for $4.00 was that the deluxe... came with fries... soggy unsalted fries. Both had two strips of dry meat and a side cup of a tablespoon of feta and two blackolives. They also came with a container of "tzatziki" which turned out to be flavorless white grease... No garlic no acid justgrease. The pita bread was fluffy and did taste ok We also ordered liver and onions($14.99) because my mom has been craving anold school dish. Again, two strips of 1/4 inch dried out shoe leather served with greasy, unsalted fries, a pile of undercookedonions and a side of microwaved out of the bag mixed vegetables I'm glad I tried it for myself so I can say it is DEFINITELYthe worst I've ever had. Never ever again Read more

Have come here in the past and it was always a pleasant experience. Unfortunately not this time around. Service was as bad as... the food. Didn?t get the woman?s name but she had a slight accent. Came to take our order but was super short with us anddownright rude. All the other servers sounded polite- unfortunately we had this woman who didn?t obviously want to be hereworking. Avoided our table for almost 30mins and our eggs came out runny and undercooked. Told her they?re not cooked and shetells us they are edible and wouldn?t take it off the bill at first until we went to the front desk. Absolutely disgustingservice. Would not recommend. Read more

Food was what you expect from a diner - if not more so. service was nice. Bathroom was clean and orderly. It's a bit more... expensive than a diner usually is however I believe they have more offerings as far as organic/vegan and dietary restrictions.Overall a nice experience. You definitely get what you pay for. It was a nice treat Read more

We visited Uncasville diner 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. They only had one waitress so that wait on that day was approximately an... hour and a half an hour and 45 minutes before we got a meal. We know the waitress. She's usually very good but with the staffingbeing only her and a bus girl busting the tables which look like she wasn't used to busting tables like that was not her usualplace in the restaurant. When the food did come it wasn't good. I don't know what's going on in the back of the kitchen but theeggs were poach. They were very runny with the egg whites and just wasn't a good day. But the waitress is usually a goodwaitress so we patiently waited as she always apologize for the service. Read more

God awful!! Had breakfast there on Sunday April 10, 2022. I?m hoping our stay was unique and not the trend. Our table of 4 as... well as two other large groups (not with us and there before we arrived) waited in excess of an hour to get out meals as Iwatched the kitchen crew cook and complete ?to go? pickup orders. Must be a huge kickback from Uber I?m guessing? I?m estimating6-8 pickups walked in as I was sitting by the window in the front and watched the door. When our food finally arrived it wasmildly warm. Mildly warm Eggs Benedict after an hour of waiting. Superb. I can?t put any blame on the wait staff as they arenot in control. So we did not punish our server. You need proper kitchen staff and management. It?s Sunday morning, even inUncasville. You need to expect people. Sad. And maybe you should worry less about grammatical errors and more about your?restaurant?? What do you think? Read more

My first and last experience a last Sunday. We paid almost $70 for 2 adult meals, one kids meal, some fries that we hardly ate.... The food was cold and tasted like it had sat there all day. I had a taco salad and the meat that came out on it was dry and coldlike it had just came out of the ?walk in.? The bacon that was ordered looked like it had been reheated on a dirty grill and hada weird taste. I am never one to complain but I was completely disappointed. Not to mention we had to spend more $ because my 3year old was still hungry. The waitress was great! However, the manager that I spoke to completely disregarded my complaints andtold me the food came out hot and walked back to sit at the bar watching tv as he had been doing the entire time we were there.I originally thought he was another patron. Love breakfast here. Tons of gluten and dairy free options. My Mother loves the gluten free pancakes and French Toast. The... eggs on crab cakes was melting in my mouth with a little heart. Also, the chicken flat patty sausages are really yummy. Theyhad no fruit cups but gave me sliced bananas. I go here often and love the food and service is good too! Read more
