We have been dining here?mostly for breakfast?for several years and Stan?s has been consistently impressive in terms of service.... The staff is friendly, competent, and attentive. The menu has changed a bit recently, both in selections and pricing. Thetraditional American breakfasts and the Mexican offerings like huevos rancheros are generally very good, as are the Benedicts.It is to my great disappointment, however, that the chicken fried steak, once a staple of our visits, has really declined inquality. The breading, once crispy as the name might imply, is now rather squishy and unsatisfying; the meat itself is poorlytenderized, tough, and rather flavorless. I mention this both as a lament for the way it was and in the hope that Stan?s willget the message and resume making this favorite dish delicious again. Read more
Great service and very tasty food. The waitresses were super helpful and they are great sales people. They were like choose any... plate combination, replace sides, and we will do it for you with the best possible price. The food is so fresh and very wellcooked. Highly recommend. Read more
Fantastic brunch spot if you are staying around Ukiah. Very affordable. Everything it seems is house made, including their... corned beef and potato chips, which are cooked to a deep golden hue. Even the coffee is brewed strong like you would get at aPeet?s. Prompt and friendly service from staff. The only bad part of the meal was burning the roof of my mouth on the Reubensandwich? the corned beef is piping hot! Read more
Great little spot to eat. Not many places in this town as welcoming and nice that also have good food as this one. If you are... ever in the area I definitely recommend. Everybody is good vibes. The biscuits and gravy was horrible but everything else wasgreat especially the loaded French toast! Support local businesses!! Read more
Cute little breakfast spot off the highway! Our omelettes were delicious - but the service we had was outstanding. Our server... was the sweetest woman - she was kind and attentive to every table that sat down and made sure we were all happy with our meals.All the other staff were great and attentive too. Delicious breakfast and super nice service .Try the home made green Chile sauce. Wow.
This is the perfect little place for breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla is awesome and well thought out. The lunch menu is... lacking with a small selection of chicken entrees. The help is very polite and restaurant was clean!!! The other thing theyare lacking that my grandma wished they had was a senior menu. She only ate half of the soup and salad. Read more
Descent food. I asked for vegan brunch option. They were able to come up with a sauteed veggies and potato dish. The restaurant... was quite busy when we went on Sunday morning. So it took a while have our food served. I hope they have more vegan friendlyfood options. Perhaps Ukiah does not have a demand for vegan dishes. Read more
