Not very many Vegan options. ???? Would be nice to have something other than potatoes and coffee. Cute place in the back... seating area. LOVED that we had our own coffee pot! Great touch! A cute place with exposed brick and lots of local art - including from kids summer camp when we were there - and a nice patio.... Generally, the food was very good. Neither of us cared for our drinks, though - the ginger peach tea didn?t have much flavor andthe Nutella coffee, as you can see, what quite sloppy and didn?t taste all that great. Lots of flies from the doors being open,had to constantly swat at them to keep them away from the food and from landing on us. That was a major yuck factor. Read more
We were actually going to another restaurant but it was too busy. Somebody told us about this one so we thought we'd give it a... try. We were unsure at first because it didn't say Mama's on the front door or window anywhere. It was a small place but Iopened the door and asked the waitress if this was Mama's and she said yes. So we grabbed a seat and ordered some tea andchecked out the menu. The breakfast part of the menu was pretty big but the lunch menu was a little small which is okay. My wifeordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and kettle chips and I ordered the club sandwich with country potatoes with garlic.We were both amazed so so glad we found this place the food was excellent the club sandwich was different than any club sandwichI've ever had anywhere. It didn't have three pieces of bread it had two on a bun. And my wife loved her chicken sandwich I don'tlike pesto but I tried it and was very impressed. The wait staff was fantastic lady was very nice. There's also a little bakeryright next door which is part of the restaurant. It is owned by a lady who comes in early in the morning and gets everythingready and does the baking. Breakfast or lunch I highly recommend this place my wife and I will definitely be going back. So the food was very good. I had a potato bowl and a latte and it was good. Unfortunately I think the experience was Soured bye... the way that service was administered in the restaurant. When I got in the restaurant there was not that many people in it. Thewoman at the front told me to pick a place I wanted to sit. I did so I sat in the back at a table that was out of the Sun in theback corner. I ordered and everything was fine until about Midway through when I noticed that the other tables were beingserviced with water and being paid attention too. I think the first server that I talked to you was annoyed that I was sittingat a four-person table and assume that I wouldn't tip. I normally wouldn't sit at a four-person table but it was out of the Sunand there were not that many people in the restaurant at the time. It was easy to see her visible annoyance and this soured thetotal experience.
