Reviews for Sake Sushi in Ucluelet, BC
I've eaten at several sushi places, and happened across Sake Sushi due to another restaurant being closed. The ambiance is... simple (and maybe a bit cluttered), but it was refreshing to see a true family run business. When the food came out my tastebudswere blown away. Amazing sashimi and rolls. Presentation was also fantastic, with the rolls being assembled with thought on ahuge board. This is now a must-go for me whenever I'm in the area. Thanks for an amazing meal! Read more
Great spot! Very friendly staff and super fresh sushi. We got take-out, drove back to our hotel and it was still some of the... best we’ve ever had. Read more
When I go to Ucluelete/Tofino I enjoy stopping in at Sake Sushi. Why? Quality and freshness. If you are there during the... summer get the spot prawns. It's a seasonal delicacy that is cheaper on the coast and tastier too. Is this a traditionalauthentic experience? No, it's Korean owned and has some of the taste notes that is found in their food... this however, ismore similar to North American pallets. Read more
Quick and easy takeout. So fresh and delicious. We were amazed at how quickly our order was ready. Perfect if you’ve taken the... day to drive from Nanaimo to Ucluelet and want to just enjoy something delicious in your AirBnB. We loved the lemon drop makisushi. Very highly recommend! Read more
Although the staff were unorganized, the food was decent. There is an odd way of ordering, which didn’t make much sense as it... would be much eatsier if they had just took our order instead. Read more

Very tasty food and quick service! On the menu, the food seemed a little pricey, but the portions were huge and we left feeling... stuffed. It also seemed a little weird that spicy versions of items were a dollar or two more than original versions (theedamame beans and agadashi tofu, for example), but the spice was great, so we didn't mind! Lovely little area for kids to playas well, very family-friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend the Hot Night roll! Read more
