Decent food, slow service - but they did warn me going in. We had an early dinner today with my son and it’s the first time... eating here. They had signs up saying to be patient so we were and the food was good. The chicken, steak and shrimp wereexcellent. The fried rice was just okay and I never eat the vegetables. Our server seemed to be on the move the entire time buthe must of had too many tables. It took almost an hour to get our food but the conversation was good so we didn’t mind. Read more
The food was very good. We loved our cook. The server made a few mistakes with our checks at the end. One of the other cooks was... yelling at the server who made the mistakes and was using profanity at him which made me a little uncomfortable because I dontlike seeing people get mistreated. I honestly don’t understand how the reviews are so high for this restaurant. The food was absolutely gross. I was completely... dissatisfied with my meal and didn’t even finish it. The hibachi vegetables were so overly cooked that it felt like I waschewing mashed potatoes. The presentation of the food was really gross and reminded me of something that a toddler would presentwith how strangely they placed the bowl on top of the rice to preserve the shape of it. You really can’t expect any betterfrom a restaurant that’s located in Tyrone. There’s literally nothing in Tyrone. But, with the reviews being so high andcritics being so generous on their satisfaction with the restaurant, I thought I would give it a try. This place is a waste ofmoney and it’s a very basic restaurant. The outside of the restaurant does not depict how it looks on the interior. It doeslook very old and it is definitely in need of renovation. The table with clean as well as the cutlery. The waiter was entirelyoverworked and they do have signs I’ll let you know that they’re short staffed to give you a warning before you actually sitdown. Not bad, Not Excellent, but they can get on the right path to be great again. I like to wonder my eyes at things that stands out... to me when dinning, the details matter when dinning in. We had Hibachi and Sushi. The Hibachi was standard. The Sushi wassurprisingly very tasty. I like to support local family restaurants, so here I will say to Nikko Japanese Steakhouse, I seeyou're trying pretty hard, so keep at it and keep all eye's on all the details! Read more
