My husband and I have eaten at several different Rudy?s in the past. Last night we ate at the Tyler,Texas Rudy?s. When we walked... in the door, the smell of Pine Sol, or a similar cleaner, hit us. It was not a pleasant smell before eating. The girls workingbehind the counter had hair that went below their waist lines and were leaning over the food to get our beans and sides. Iordered a cobbler. I love Rudy?s cobbler but at this location it was awful. It was dry and cold. The bathrooms smelled horribleand I couldn?t wait to get out of it so I could breathe. The Pine Sol smell kept hitting us, even as we left. The people workingwere friendly though. Not a lot of customers. I think I know why. Read more

My daughter loves this place & the baked potatoes w/choice of toppings. Whenever we pass through this town & our pallets are... craving baked potatoes, this is our place to stop. Awesome service & pricing. Read more

Not good, drive thru took about 20-30 minutes to get a pulled pork sandwich $7.25 and a half sausage link $3.75 and didn?t taste... good. The sausage was spicy and was stiff. Pork was not fresh. The bbq sauce is not homeade it comes in packets. The lady at thewindow didn?t smile or say hello anything to me as a greeting. She opens the window and gives a blank 1000 yard stare. This isa bad manager problem I don?t fault the young people who work there. I?m not going back there?s lots of places in Tyler to spendmoney on food where they do a better job. Read more

The young lady working the drive through at 5pm today by far is one of the worst we have experienced at customer service... anywhere. When we drove up to the window she just stared at us. We had to initiate the conversation and when we ordered sheresponded " what ". When we repeated the order she again just stared at us and asked what again.. She then just went into asilent mode and wouldn't speak and continued to ignore us even as we asked questions. Rudy's has always been a decent place toeat with people that seemed to care you chose them but this young lady definitely needs customer service training as the forefront of Rudy's. With all the options of BBQ in town it's easy to choose somewhere they care about customer service and peoplespending their money with them. Read more

I love Rudy's but I was disappointed with the moist brisket in this location. It was not as moist and the beef was hard/tough.... That's why I am giving it a 1 star. Read more
