Been in search of a goooood Mexican restaurant since oct 2021 here in Tyler (I?m Latina and from Chicago where there?s an... authentic Mexican restaurant on every corner) so it?s pretty hard to find a place that compares ???? but THIS PLACE ????????????so delicious! I ordered the Doblados (Birria carne asada tacos) with rice and beans and it was phenomenal. I was taken back bythe cost of the meal but once I tried the food I realized I didn?t mind the cost when the flavor is this so so good! I?ve beento lots of Mexican places out here in Tyler (Mexico Lindo, don juans (both locations) jalapeño tree, villa Montez and themontez) just to name a few and while some of those places has a decent carne asada plate, honestly nothing compares to this! TRYTHEM! Also note that it seems the place is run by teenagers but they have visited the table multiple times to see if we neededanything. great service and even better food! Read more
Sunday after 4 PM. Be aware they close at 5. Very friendly and helpful people work here. Lupes plate was great along with the... Balderos. Recommend the Aquas Frescas coconut. Food came out fast and was all fresh and tasty. Read more

We went to Tyler state park last week and decided to try the local food so we decided to dine in at Ruby's. The food was okay... just to used to have cheese in my tacos I should have mentioned it when ordering (I have dairy allergies) the portions were goodand the food was brought to us quick. Read more

I actually ate at Ruby?s Mexican 2 here is the address 813 Lindsey Ln. This was my 1st time going there and I fell in love with... this place. I got the #1 that comes with 4 tacos a soup that you dip the tacos in radishes and onions. My friend got chiliques,and verde enchiladas they were both really good!!
