Read their website carefully first if you’ve never been here! I was unfortunately not able to update the Google map when I... went, although I tried. The north roads are not open to the public. I did lots of research via their website and learned beforeI went to enter from the south side of the estate through the neighborhood (the website has great directions we used). I madereservations for lunch on a Friday when they opened at 11 before the winery tour which started at 1 (also made a reservation,separate phone call, see other review for Grand Room tours). More than enough time to enjoy lunch leisurely and get to the touron time. Wonderful lunch experience! It’s the same location as the B&B. Quiet and peaceful. You could definitely eat lunch forless than $20/person (with tip) if you only order an entree. However, they have a great selection of unique appetizers andcocktails. Warm, homemade bread was complementary. I meant to ask, but they might have seasonal menus. Some items all yearpossibly? The sit down menu is different than the restaurant bar and the bistro at the tasting room located across the estate ashort drive. A fancy experience! Read more

Visiting from out of town. My family works here and they were right it's an amazing place. We were gonna stop by for one drink,... ended up staying and getting appetizers and it became the night's hang out. Everyone here was happy, extra nice, cheerful. Agreat experience we are so happy we stopped by had so much fun. Full house but got seats at the bar. Felt like we were at homewith people we've known forever. Every staff member we met was amazing. It's a get away from city life and traffic. If y'all want a honey moon or anniversary...this is the place for couples. Family... friendly too. It's a long drive...but it's worth every mile to get there. Reservations recommended. Great for special occasions.Capacity is small..but cozzy. Take the tour as well. We just went for breakfast. Not recommended for Alcoholics in recovery.Temptations of alcohol. If you know what I mean. Please drink responsibly. Don't drink and drive. Uber if you must. Other thanthat....food is great. Fantastic service by Michael in addition to superb cocktails. The old fashion and chocolate martini made with Kiepersol's... spirits were delicious and unique. The crab cakes were hardy, filling, and perfectly cooked. Read more
Dined with two friends on a Thurday evening. The staff were very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is nice. Parking was... a bit sparse. We started with bread which was not note worthy. Then we had the crab cakes. They were crisp and the jicamaslaw was delightful. We also ordered the shaved Brussel sprouts. They were unremarkable and a bit bitter due to beingoversized. I ordered the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly, but the cut was full of fat and sinew. The mashed potatoes were tothe point of being broken - grainy and not warm. My friend had the Colorado lamb chops. She said they were tender. My otherfriend ordered the filet and was pleased. We each had a cocktail, mine the lemon drop martini. It was okay. We also orderedthe bread pudding and the chocolate lava cake, both of which were good. Read more
Every course of our dinner was cooked to perfection. The steak, crab cakes, and calamari were some of the best we have ever had.... Our waiter Sebastian was absolutely the best. He made the best recommendations for cocktails and dessert. Sebastian made ourdinner very personable and gave us the best service we have ever received at any restaurant in East Texas.
