One word: FRESH! I ordered a dragon roll and raw salmon roll (the first picture), it was DELICIOUS. They make it right in-front... of you at the sushi bar and you can watch it. I then ordered 4 salmon sashimi pieces (I forgot to take a picture of it sadly),and they were THICK & BIG! The sashimi tasted very fresh and not like it was left in the fridge for weeks. The place is veryclean, along with the staff being very friendly and on top of everything you need. I came here on a Thursday night- a hourbefore they closed, and they served me nicely. The place is quiet and a good atmosphere, along with a nice look inside.Definitely better than some Japanese restaurants; they had bigger portions and tastier food than most I have been. You get whatyou pay for, and this is definitely a good small pit stop if you are feeling hungry. Read more
Yumm! During lunch the place was pretty much empty but it picked up during dinner. There are so many options and the staff is... very helpful when explaining the menu and chopsticks lol. Park was our waitress and she was great. Service was excellent. Food portions are small tho so if you are trying to get full,... this IS NOT the place for you. I had date night with hubby. His 1st time ever eating sushi???? it was an interesting 1stexperience! All he kept saying is "I'm still hungry" ???? but everything was super fresh just needed to use a lil salt n pepperfor extra taste. Read more
Sushi En is my new sushi spot!. Set in a stand alone restaurant Sushi En, in my experience, is next level. Stopped in for... dinner on this cool April night and I was not disappointed. Beautiful ambience with gorgeous lighting, Sushi En set the perfectstage for what was to come, great food. For starters, I had my server Cameron percure me a ice cold Sapporo from a prettyimpressive drink menu. Hmm, refreshing! As I was short on time, I went to my entree right away, Cam's first suggestion was theAll-in roll. This amazing offer consists of red Snapper, salmon, Tuna, yellowtail, crab and cucumbers. As I am not a fan ofshellfish, I substituted crab for octopus! Wow! Soo good!! Of course that was not enough for me, so my next sampling was theKinky Eel! Eel, smoked salmon, Salmon skin, cucumber and drizzled with Eel sauce! Simple, fresh and so delicious! You gotta trythis! The Eel did me in. All and all, it was a great outing. They all greet... you when you come in and really want you to feel welcomed and taken care of. Food has been consistent and delicious everytime.
