I believe that in concept the flame broiler is a good idea. However 90% of the ones I enter, are dirty and messy, and the food... is rarely prepared fresh. Maybe that's what I should expect for $9, not entirely sure. However it's been years since I've had adish that wasn't overcooked and that was hot when I received it, or a day I've gone in and haven't complained about giving toomuch sauce away.
