Reviews for Ha Long Bay Pho & Grill in Tustin, CA
The food is very good (love their pho) BUT after seeing their prices on their website and ordered via phone, I went to pick up... and found their website has not been updated in 2 years. My meal was $15 more than I expected for two items. (They didn't giveme the total price over the phone.) I do understand that prices have gone up quite a bit, but I wish they let us know... If youcall in an order, verify prices before you order. Like I said, I like the food - just wish they spent a little time getting thewebsite fixed (or remove the prices). Read more
Ordered to go and opened the extra beefballs container to only get this tiny amount and it was ice cold for $3 :( This place is... pretty good but pretty pricey as well. $45 for 4 spring rolls & 2 bowls of pho with the side of beefballs. Read more
Clean and properly spaced dining room experience. Ordered a large pho tai and it was delicious! Friendly staff. Good service!
I ordered the lunch special which included, 2 egg rolls, a large Pho bowl, and Black Tea for around $15. It was honestly pretty... good, and i felt full after eating all of the food. I also thought the service was really good. Read more
Quiet place when we came in for dinner! Service was really nice and the server knew a lot about the actual Há long bay! The pho... and soups they were in were excellent! The rice plate that i had was good as well, however i did wish a little more meat on theshort ribs. The salad that it came with was also great as well and the rice is just rice. Overall this is a solid place to tryvarious rice dishes vietnamese style! Try the pho when possible! The place has really nice cozy vibe with dark colors anddecorations that fit the theme! Read more
Service is quick and prompt... Food comes out quickly. Quality seemed to have dropped since they first opened. Their broth for... the pho is not that great and a bit salty--it doesn't have the aromatic beef broth smell & not flavorful--there are many otherplaces in the OC with much better quality and much better prices. I would recommend the filet with rice, but these days it'sseems to be soggy and has way too much sauce compared to when they first opened. In addition, their cans of soda is $2.75 eachwith no refills--a bit over priced, especially when I can get a 12-pack at Ralph's for this price when it is on sale. Finally, this was even a more disappointing visit only to learn that they NO LONGER ACCEPT AMEX. Read more
The new pho place just opened recently. We came here twice (both dinner time) and liked it very much. The interior is newly... remodeled and beautiful. The pho broth is sweet and cinnamon-y than other pho places but I like it. We have tried several otherdishes and liked them too. The BBQ meat is a bit on the salty side for my taste, the chicken is white meat so it's on the dryside. The seasoning is good though. Overall, I enjoy coming here. It's so close to Cowan height so we don't have to drive toother pho places. If you like pho, give it a try. Read more
