I am not vegan by any sense of the word, and barely vegetarian either. However, I find my body has less chance of rage vomiting... or glandular explosions consuming non-animal food compared to the mainstream diet. So tonight my bestie brought me here for abelated birthday meal (I said no to the carousel of meats place) I ordered the Arnold Palmer, Roasted Cauliflower and HatchBurger (Hatch means the southwestern hatch green chili, which is famous in New Mexico). While the meal was simple, it was tastyand satisfying. No worrisome gut gurgles and just feeling good about my choice. Not impressed. Service was pretty slow despite not being very crowded on a Tuesday evening. Parking was easy. The place is clean... with bathrooms that are clean and the ambiance is nice for a date night or special lunch out. Some people were celebrating abirthday. The staff was unaccommodating. I thought the portions were on the smaller side and not the best value for the price.Although there?s a lot of variety in their plant based menu. No kids menu. I though the asparagus soup was bland and the grilledcountry salad was just fine. The big star was the potato pizza. That?s probably the only thing I?d come back for; but I?d takeit to go. Read more
Wow?.. I mean, when things are done right, they are excellent and this place is no different. 100% vegan and loving it. I keep... my sodium down and fried food limited. This restaurant offers the ability to do that if I do not want to go home and cook. Glasscarafes (bottles) with water was a great touch. Love love love. Go get you some!!!! Read more
This is a nice little Vegan restaurant in Old Town Tustin. The food here is very good. It doesn't taste Vegan at all. I had... the HLT ham lettuce and tomato which comes with a small salad. I also had the Oreo cheesecake. Everything was delicious. I really liked the cheesecake. It really tasted like they used Philadelphia cream cheese but they don't. First time at a vegan cafe with some friends! I got the Altantic sandwich which was basically a vegan tuna sandwich & my friend... got the Curry with tofu. Both dishes were yummy and flavorful. For our drinks we both got the Arnold Palmer which was my firsttime ever trying and I enjoyed it very much. ???? Read more
Free soul has done an amazing job with their vegan menu, their pizzas deserts and coffee drinks are magnificent! Most of all... like to give a huge shout out to the team that works at Freesoul whenever I?m in town from a tour always make my way over. Theservice is exceptional, pricing for vegan food of their Quality is extremely low in comparison to other restaurants like GraciasMadre. FSC breakfast sandwich with amazing meatless bacon ????. Panini Caprese is a great pesto sandwich with roasted bell peppers and... tomatoes. Roasted cauliflower were a light snack to start off the meal. Double Mocha Cafe & a Roobis peach tea. Delicious food,amazing atmosphere and nice employees. Plenty of room on a Thursday night for dinner with a couple of buddies. One is a vegetarian and this was on his list. No... liquor license, but the alcohol free beers were good quality (German). Service kept coming by asking for our order but we weretoo busy chatting to make choices, they get points for their persistence. We settled on the Fungi pizza (delicious, would orderagain) their Truffle burger (good for a non-meat burger) and the Creamy gnocchi (we were not fans of the white sauce). Priceswere very reasonable.
