I work in an industry whre reviews are everything, so for me to leave a bad review it?s to inform people to know what is going... on/happened. We called to place an order of a large cheese dip, salsa, and chips at 5:30. Didn?t not receive our order until5:56. I was waiting in the car and we had to be somewhere so I knew it would be quick so I thought. Instead after 15 minutes ofwaiting, I called my friend and asked if she still had not gotten the food and she said no, so I went in. I asked my friend whoshe spoke with and what was going on and then tells me she was waiting to pay and a girl at the front would not take her paymentbecause ?she could not take payments? but a gentlemen walks in, places an order, and she takes his payment, but couldn?t take myfriends. When she told me this that is when I went and talked to the hostess and informed her what was going on due to her beingthe first person I saw. She said she was the hostess only and I said I get that, just please get me someone who can get ourorder since it is a simple order. She went to the back then came back and said it will be just a second. I then said I just wantto talk to a manager since it?s now been over 20 minutes. The gentlemen that came in after my friend who ordered food that hadto be cooked got his food and was out the door before us. His excuse was that everyone was new. I totally get that people arenew and In training, but it was just chips salsa and cheese dip. I informed him I have worked at a Mexican restaurant and knowhow it works. You have 4 girls up here (who by the way were talking about the whole situation and laughing while I?m talking tothe manager) very inappropriate and not good customer service. We had a great experience here. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was spot on. The service was top notch. Our server was... very attentive. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Plus we were in tuscaloosa for the football game and they got busy andstill never missed a beat. Read more

We had a large group setting. And the location is ideal. Not crowded. And the food and service were good. I had the gumbo which... was different from regular gumbo but turned out to be extremely good. Portions were large. Everyone seemed to be pleased withwhat they got. Would highly recommend. Read more
We were just passing through on our way to Nashville and stopped by for a quick lunch. The food got to us super fast during what... I assume was the lunch rush and the entire staff was warm and inviting! There was a sweet waitress lady who came over andchatted with us for a moment. I visited Los Tarascos a few weeks ago when I was in Tuscaloosa for business purposes. The food was incredibly delicious. I... enjoyed it so much I ordered carry out 2 nights in a row. I will definitely be dining here on my next business trip next month. The wait staff were fast and friendly. They order was prepared quickly. Very nice restaurant with good atmosphere. Food was excellent. Their menu is extensive with a wide variety of dishes to choose... from. We were there at a very busy dinner time. Service was a bit slow, but completely understandable given the crowd. Still,staff was very friendly and overall, no complaints. Will be back! Read more
