Wish it would have been better, but sadly, it left a lot to be desired. The service was great (very friendly) but the food was... just okay. The tabouli had more parsley than I like but the main problem was it was dry and not enough citrus. The pita bread onthe side and on the gyro were both hard. Grilled Chicken Salad and Baba Ghanoush was great. I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

Horrible salad..Damp iceburg from a bag, two unripe tomatoes, a couple of olives and a spoonful of feta. The pita was cold and... tough and the hummus was greasy and sour. Worst meal I?ve attempted to eat in a very long time. Do not recommend. Read more

Gyro meat wasnt that of the more traditional kind, it's not shaved and I dont think they use anything like a Vertical Kebab... Grill. The "greek salad" looks like something bought from a grocery store with shreds of carrots and red cabbage, unlike atraditional greek salad. There is no feta cheese in it, no cucumbers, no tomatoes and no pepperchini peppers, something I lookforward to a traditional greek salad. The tzatziki sauce does not taste fresh, there are no traces of dill and/or cucumbers,really disappointing. We ordered a side of Tabouli Salad and suffice to say, it wasnt fresh either, there was mold growing onours, see picture. We did receive a refund, they were nice about it, but didnt apologize. Overall, I dont think we will bereturning and dont reccomend if you are looking for "traditional" Mediterranean food or simple gyro. Food was not what I expected, and the customer service before I arrived was even worse. 2 stars instead of one because the... server was friendly once I arrived. There is no online ordering platform and they will not take a credit card over the phone. Ialso inquired about large orders of more than 20 people - I was told I would need to fax the order that day early or call theday before to be able to order at quickly at opening of business. They open at 11am not 10:30am as stated (reason for the delaywas COVID hours). I gave this restaurant 3 tries and I'm not going back. My first visit - no baklava - because I wasn't advisedto check the fridge on the other side of the store during pickup. The first time I called in an order they confirmed twice thatI wanted an "extra" order of fries with my plate. I had already ordered a similar combo meal that came with fries (the order wasfor 2 - not that it's relevant). 2nd time a friend picked up the food. I don't remember it being very good but at least I gotthe baklava that time. The 3rd visit I wasn't able to get anyone to answer the phone. They answered before they opened andwouldn't take my order. At opening of business, I called more than 4 times and received an unavailable recorded message. When Ifinally reached someone, I knew exactly what I wanted but I must have said something "incorrectly" because I was re-read themenu as if what I was saying wasn't pulled directly from the menu. This is the new location of hooligans over the bridge in northport. The new location is large, spotless, and the staff are... fantastic. The mint sweet tea is perfect, especially if you catch it hot. The staff is more than willing to accommodate specialorders and the food is amazing as always. I get the cheese burger combo but I ask for only swiss and feta cheese and mushroomsinstead of a fully dressed burger. Read more
