I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at your restaurant. Your hostess was so accommodating in getting tables together for 22... guests! It was so important to me for us to all be together and they made it happen. Our server was so friendly and checked onus often. Thank you for such a great meal and a great experience! Read more

Best dining experience I've had in forever. Food and service were excellent. Meatballs had great texture and flavor. Pizza had... the perfect amount of sauce and the sauce had great flavor, not bland like many other places. The ingredients on the salad werefresh and the vinaigrette was very tasty. The service was spot on and it was noticeable that the employees worked together welland seamlessly all across the restaurant. Already looking forward to the next visit. Read more

My coworkers and I went there today and had an amazing experience. The place was packed and therefore our food took longer than... expected. But definitely worth the wait! Our waiter was super nice and the food was amazing. Best part was the dessert! Read more

That authentic italian smell hits your nostrils when you enter the door. Portions were plentiful and delicious. The braided... cheese sticks with meatball & onion and florentine calzoni made for a great lunch! Can't wait to visit again & try otherentrees. Yum! Read more

Waiter was attentive and friendly. Food was cooked perfectly and fresh. We went there on a Saturday at about 4:45 p.m., and we... were seated immediately. Crowd tends to increase at about 5:30 p.m. DePalma's never disappoints. We had the Lobster Raviolispecial, the Carnivore Lasagna special, and the Polermo Calzone as well as the Baked Feta. For dessert we had the bread pudding, which is melt in your mouth scrumptious. A Tuscaloosa favorite! Read more

Worth The Wait?.. This place was GOOD! A pretty long Friday night wait but we?ll worth it. The hostess was tremendous and we... were seated within minutes of our guesstimate wait time. She was kind, friendly and understanding of everyone that came to herwith all different types of ?situations?. Handled herself very well under a lot of constant ?attention?! The waiter wasaccommodating of our needs and answered all our questions about items on the menu and offered guidance towards certain itemsthat we may have been in-between on. The appetizer of meatballs and mushrooms was bursting with cheesy, earthy goodness. MyCaesar salad was hearty with a briny dressing that hit all the right notes. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. It came swimming inthis decadent brown butter sauce and fresh basil. The special addition of toasted walnuts took this dish to the next level offlavor composition. Oh, and that damn bread!!!!!! When in b-ham, do yourself a favor and hit this bad boy up and enjoy thehopping atmosphere and delicious food!!!!! Read more

Get ready for the longest wait you can imagine just to eat average food. The hostess was obviously having a less than stellar... day judging by her face and communication style. Our welcome was greeted with a misspelling of our name and shame on use fortrying to help correct it. After 45 minutes of waiting we were seating in the back and greeted by the best young waitress whohelped earn this review an extra star. When asked which wine is best and what they pair well with she become flustered and letus know she couldn?t really help due to not being 21 and no experience in taste. My husband continued to push until I finallyhad to step in and give the poor girl time to just pick one. A major mistake on our part because our pick did not go well withour Cesar salad or Pasta dish due to dryness. If you like pesto the stuffed mushrooms are the best part of our meal. Our sidesalads were very tasty however too much dressing is a thing and just did not go well with the wine. Our entree the Florentinewas ok at best. They were extremely busy and maybe this was just an off night for service (hostess) and flavor. Our total was anormal price for outings so unlike others, I will not complain about pricing. I would say that you should definitely try tovisit when they aren?t crazy slammed. Read more
