I had low expectations for this place but it was good! The onion rings were not great and I still like Five Guys burgers... better, but love the selection of sides, like cajun fries and bacon ranch wrap. Plus the prices are so good! Five Guys is muchmore delicious but the Cook Out is almost just as good at the fraction of the price! The cashiers didn't know anything aboutthe menu when I asked questions, but they were friendly. The facilities could have used some cleaning and so could therestaurant. Overall, good food, decent service, and great prices. Read more

So that was a pleasantly surprising experience! We'd been putting off coming here to try their burgers for some reason and,... finally, we gave it a shot. I gotta say, I had low expectations for this place but it was good! I still prefer In N Out forbasic burgers and Burger Fi over Whataburger, but between Five Guys and The Cook Out, I might pick the Cook Out! I still likeFive Guys burgers best BUT with the selection of sides, like cajun fries, bacon ranch wrap, etc., and then the price on top ofthat?! I prefer The Cook Out. Five Guys is good but the Cook Out is almost just as good at the fraction of the price! The onionrings were not great. Not beer battered, or have the texture I like (like Burger Fi does) but I'll skip the rings next time Igo. The reason I ranked lower than i wanted to on service was because the cashiers didn't know anything much about the menu andpractically said they haven't eaten the food there. That made me nervous. The facilities could have used some cleaning and socould the restaurant. A group of young adults walked in while we were eating, some with no shoes on, which was off putting. What ever happened to "no shoes no service?" but I guess if their feet are not in my food than whatever ???????? Overall,3.5/5. Good food, decent service, great prices. I'd come here again. Read more

The night staff is TRASH!!! The first drive thru crew all had attitudes and I had to repeat my order SIX TIMES before being... asked to drive around to receive my order. They got BOTH of my trays wrong: The order was supposed to have NO onions on BOTH ofthe burgers and there were onions on BOTH; there was supposed to be lettuce on one of my burgers and there was no lettuce; theyalso didn?t provide any napkins or straws for my milkshakes and they had attitudes again when I approached them about fixing theorder. JAMON was the main person on drive thru but there was also a red-haired guy and some young girl working there as wellwho handed me my 2 shakes. Spoke with the manager and hopefully he takes care of this issue fast because bad service is a HUGEindicator of what type of establishment this particular location is. ???????????? Read more

To start with the girl taking orders plainly conveys that she doesn't want to be there. The food came out quickly but incorrect... and was a disaster. Looked like it was literally thrown into the wrappers with the toppings mostly not on the burgers. Thr a-1sauce was literally a small spec on one side of the bun with an unbelievable amount of onions on the burger in effort to make upfor the patty that was less than half the size of the bun. The slaw was basically shredded cabbage in a cup. No dressing at all. Tables were all dirty and the bathroom soap dispenser was broken as well as the paper towel dispenser wouldn't put out towels. Been to the location in Homewood and enjoyed it so decided to bring my family to this one because Hoo's Q apparently went out ofbusiness across the street once we arrived. Terrible decision. Hopefully this will kick someone into gear to fix these issuesbecause the restaurant chain is normally good. Just not this one. Read more

For fast food this place is one of the best! The service is always super quick despite being constantly busy. Plus, the store is... open late; perfect for a midnight meal. On top of that, they have a wide variety of pretty acceptable food for a cheap price. Asfar as fast food goes, you're not going to get much better than this! Read more
