Worth the lovely drive (great weather today) from Calgary! A reasonable wait on a Sunday afternoon, pleasant service & easily... value for money. We had a cheeseburger (sizeable), traditional w/(lots of)bacon & traditional w/(lg & tasty) sausage + a sliceof coconut cream pie. Read more

Total yum. Beef barley soup is blue ribbon. Pie fantastic. Good service. Fun place. Eau Claire distillery is next door, so a 2... for 1, but that place is the place next door, not this one. ???? Read more
We got there around 2 pm and even though they close at 2:30 they had no problem seating us. (We asked). We didn't feel rushed... and the service was really great. The house burger is huge and the best old fashioned burger you'll ever have. There was enoughfries for a small army. A must stop if you're in Turner Valley. Read more

I saw this restaurant featured on ?You Gotta Eat Here? so I needed to check it out. The house burger was flavorful, and the... shoe-string fries were so crispy. I received amazing service at the Chuckwagon Cafe. The restaurant is full of westernmemorabilia and antiques. I loved the two antique stoves in the restaurant. I will definitely be back. Read more
Heck yeah, my dudes! Cruising south from Calgary, we happened past a billboard advertising the best burger in Alberta, so we... were obliged to seek confirmation. The lovely server, a quirk-machine with a bow in her hair, informed us that it was in factvoted the best burger in Canada--twice over, including like a week ago. I have not been able to verify the source of thisaccolade, but I feel like it's not going to surprise you that the burger was incredibly delicious. The fries were great too,and, as the rural quirk queen informed us, bottomless. I was already full as heck by the time we learned that, but if ever Ireturn to Turner Valley (a delightful little town), I'll do so with an empty stomach so that I can really appreciate theChuckwagon Cafe.
