I used to love this place. Like going back in time, but I haven't been since it changed hands. It closes really early, no more... dinner crowd. I used to love going for dinner and seeing a really elderly couple enjoying a meal like they had for decades atthis restaurant. And the menu has really changed, old favorites deleted. New owners always think they know better, can neverleave well enough alone. Read more

Adorable retro style! Too bad they don't have grits but they said they are coming out with a new menu soon. The waffle we had... was so-so, but the omelet was good - even the avocado on top of it was perfect. Friendly service which is always appreciated Read more

7 of us went there because we like trying different places and non of us had been there before. We were having a great time... visiting with each other. there were a lot of people there so we knew it was going to be longer than normal to get our food. Wedidn't realize 45 mins had passed but we stayed talking. Another 20 mins passed. We were so hungry. We looked at the serverhere and there but it was just taking too too long. After 1 and 1/2 hours, she comes and tells us that they couldn't find ourorder and if we wanted to order again. We were so upset and said no. We will not go there again. They really should have givenus a free dinner for another day. Very disappointed. I give it no stars because of them losing our order . The food looked verydelicious. It was too bad we didn't get to eat some. Read more

Good, all American, diner food. Have eaten here a couple of times now and both times did NOT disappoint! First time, had French... toast plate and it was tasty and filling. Second visit, I had a B.L.T. sandwich. The bread was toasted perfectly and theFrench fries were fresh, hot and of a very, generous portion. I really do like taking a trip back to the late 1960's, early1970's, by dining in at Latif's. Their original, dated, decore is simple, but perfect since I find myself longing more and morefor how things were as to how things are nowadays. I miss the simplicity of an eating establishment that doesn't try gimmicks ormore, modern food choices. Latif's is one of a kind. If you want some simple, good, diner food, this is a great place to get it! Read more

Honestly, half of it is the ambience....old school andunchanged and I'm so glad. Always excellent service, everyone friendly. Food is good and I'm looking forward to trying lunch ordinner here next time. We sit at the counter when we go, makes for good people watching. ???? Read more

First time today and it was such a pleasure to meet the ladies. Our waitress (I forgot her name) and another lady named Ossie... (not sure of spelling) were so nice. I had the lemon meringue pie which was really good. My husband had the Liver & Onions whichis something he always looks for when we eat out and he loves it. We are definitely coming back! Read more
