A gem in a food desert. Having been to the Adirondacks many times throughout my life, the expectation is roadhouse steaks for... dinner. The meals at Amado are refined, delicate, and yet satisfying for a hungry belly. Expect to pay, but to eat this qualityof food in the middle of nowhere is a treat that should not be passed by. Staff is friendly and the service was just asdelightful as the meal. Read more
Miles ahead of any restaurant I've been to in New York. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent selection. The time and... effort put into the favor of the dishes can be tasted in every bite. Will absolutely visit again for another fantastic meal.Highly recommend the quail legs for a starter. Read more
Service was great. Food was not. We both ordered the Fiejoada and it was dry and under cooked (meaning tuff). Suggest they stick... to burgers. I will add that the mushroom soup was very good. Read more
Fantastic! We had the fried yucca, which was delicious. I had the linguine and was very pleased with the freshness of the... seafood. My partner in dining adventures had the pistachio coconut milk risotto topped with toasted almond and crispy kale, ofwhich I stole a bite and was excessively delighted. The Pinot noir was perfect (not a lot of wine selections but I didn't mindbecause they had one of each type) and my friend had their specialty house coffee which was "brewed to perfection". If I hadanother stomach, I would have also gotten the moqeuca because the table next to us got it and it looked divine. Outside seatingis super cute, there's already a bunch of photos but I'll add some more to help you guys get the idea. Also, the balsamicvinegar on the table was awesome, gonna try to get some for my kitchen. The entrees are a bit expensive, but well worth theprice. Overall, fully recommend. Read more

We had the most wonderful night at Amados! The different flavors and foods were amazing. We even had a bonus experience of... having the opportunity to talk with the owner about her Brazilian culture. I can't wait to go back! Read more
