Where do I start?!? Well everything was great from the time we went in until the time we left. Our server Nate was... extraordinary, very kind and very friendly!!!! One of the best servers we've had, generally speaking. The food is ALWAYS onpoint and very tasty! We love Mugshots so it's always a grand time when we come to dine in or get take out. So first...not the fault of any staff member but they were woefully understaffed. That said, we opted to eat at the bar and... Perrish (?spelling?) Could not have made more of a difference. She was literally pulled in a million directions but wasfantastic and friendly and filled the gap so the lack of staff didn't detract from the visit. The food was super tasty, thevibe welcoming and the experience fantastic. I do truly hope management understands that even in the face of staffing issues,there are those stepping up that should be recognized. We were just passing through and may never be in the area, but if weare, we will return. Read more
We chose Mugshots because we had been told it was easy to sub the veggie patty in for one of the other burger options - and it... was - so that was great. We also were having a late enough lunch that we caught happy hour, there are great HH deals and thebeer, while not memorable, was memorably affordable. The establishment was definitely on the understaffed side and while weeventually got everything we wanted there were some delays with ordering. I would recommend splitting an order or going forsomething non-fried for at least a portion of your order. Our meals ended up being something of an ode to oil - delicious but abit too much. Read more
Typical bar, loud and traditional bar food. Burgers, sandwiches and a few entree options. There is a sitting area, indoor bar... and outdoor patio. Not a criticism, but it?s a loud place, just so you are not surprised! I?ve been here a few times during mytravels, always great service! Read more
The food is amazing here at Mugshots. The fried pickles are crispy, the fries are to die for, and the burgers taste amazing.... They are very large and there is plenty for left overs. The buns are well toasted, the grilled cheese is crispy, and the honeymustard is delicious. Read more
Nice location good selection of food and beverages. Service staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The weakest part was... reception. Guy there struggled to remember who was who and when people checked in. Could tell there was some shortages as lotsof open tables but throughput was struggling from the kitchen. Overall good experience if you are patient and not in a hurry.Will return again. Read more
I understand this is a bar with bar food but I?d except better food and service. The fish was so dry I didn?t even eat it. The... grilled veggies were soaked in a pile of oil. And for service, I was there over an hour before the server asked on her own if Ineeded anything besides taking me order. Any other time, I had to get her attention as she walked by or while she was behind thebar. I?m here in Tupelo staying at a hotel across the street so I decided to walk over for dinner. Should have went somewhereelse. Their bar food may be great but don?t order any healthy option?. It?s not good! Read more
Not such a good first impression, no smile, zero personality from hostess, looks like she'd rather be anywhere but here, almost... walked out. But the food was worth staying. I had the A-1bacon cheeseburger on a sourdough bun, messy but delicious. Greatatmosphere. Shout to busy Parrish, handling the bar and tables, she was awesome! Read more
