We need a Jacks here in Milwaukee. The chicken was fire and hot and fresh. They homemade biscuits make you wanna slap someone... and the hamburger was on point. The fries are good and hot. They customer service was excellent. Everything was excellent. Fromall the workers, cooks and order takers. Good job at this location. A must go too. Food was good and the cashier was nice. However, the manager (I?m assuming some sort of management position bc she had the keys... to the register and had to be called over to change our order) was unbelievably rude. I was completely taken aback by herbehavior bc it was so unexpected. I?ve worked in the service industry for years and it takes a lot for me to react to a fellowservice worker, but her behavior was outrageous. Having a bad day is one thing but this was beyond that. Our first Jack's experience was a dine-in, late lunch for my kiddo and myself. We blindly ordered since we were newbies, so we... went with staple items. I got a fried chicken sandwich combo and TK got a cheeseburger kids meal. The chicken sandwich was justa bun, fried breast (good quality meat), and pickles. I dressed it myself from the condiments provided in the well-stockedtrays, but no matter how much mayo and mustard I put on it, it was still dry and not flavorful. I took a bite of TK'scheeseburger that came with chopped onions, pickles, a little mayo and ketchup, and I wanted to swap with her. The meat wasn'tflavorful, but the rest of it, especially the bun, was pretty darn good. TK's meal had the same amount of well-salted crinklecut fries, and the drink was only 4 ounces smaller. TK's was $3.99 where mine was $7.19. Both are really good prices for combomeals these days, but I'm leaning toward a meal that's over $3 less for the same amount of food. We got a cookies and creammilkshake to go, and it was watery and not the best. We would skip the shakes and try just a scoop or two next timeinstead. The lady that walked around and checked on us and our need for refills, etc was absolutely precious. Her pleasantdemeanor was definitely the highlight of our experience. Not sure what's going on at this jacks. Waited in like 20 mins while the people in front of me stood longer. 1 person taking the... orders. She was going from one register to the other. All for one person's order. The cooks in the back was saying they was outof this food and out of that food. I've been in jacks all over the south. Yes we all have bad days.
