I got delivery. I ordered the macho nachos, which were fantastic, and a sope, which was also fantastic. Fried and yummy. You get... a generous container of rice and beans for the $2.99 amount, if you decide to add that. For the not so great side, I got anasada wrap, and it was ????. The asada was very gristly, and it was overall underwhelming. Also, the flan was $7.50, and I wishit was less for a smaller one, since there was a lot of it. It was also eggy/custardy rather than silky, and I prefer a silkyflan. Overall, I would order again for those nachos and sope, but pass on the other two. I would rate 3.5 if I could. Read more

Amazing great food tried carnitas and al pastor also rice and beans tortillas. We had a great lunch very basic food but the... flavor was anything but average Both meat's we're very tender juicy flavor, you can tell they take time to prepare similar tohome cooked food. Oh yeah they have a nicely stocked store with lots of unique products. And there's the bar and dance floortruly a one stop covered everything kinda place. Read more

Been here a few times. Had the Mexican pizza tonight. I could only eat half. It's big and delicious. I'll have the rest for... lunch tomorrow. I must add that I can't get enough of their green salsa. Great menu selection. Nice bar in the other room. When we were done we shopped the grocery area of the restaurant/store. Got coconut water for feeling healthy :) We'll be backsoon. Read more

Quaint little place. Combo restaurant and store and bar?an interesting mixed bag. Nothing fancy. The food was good, not great,... but not bad either. The service folks were very nice, but our waiter seemed a bit harried, juggling take out orders, tableservice and bussing tables. He was trying, but did forget to get my tortillas for my mole. I ended up asking another waitstafffor them. The guacamole was very good, as were the beans. I?ve never had mole before, so I can?t compare it with any other?itwas tasty and portions were good. The pros: The carne asada is one of the best in the area, and the rice and beans are moist and flavorful. We also value... supporting a family owned business. The cons: They used to make really thick and crunchy tortilla chips from scratch but nowserve ones comparable to most other places and don't taste fresh. Their fish tacos are made with tilapia, and the ones I orderedfrankly tasted like dirt. Nothing compared to fresh cod you'd hope for in good fish tacos. Really wish the service was better. No one checked on us after our food was delivered except to drop off the check by the time we finished, and the server who tookour order did so right after taking a smoke break out front and left our table smelling like cigarette smoke which reallyspoiled my appetite. Ramirez Mexican Store, so me and my hubby will occasionally stop in to pick up a few items from the store side. We noticed they... have ready made stuff in the fridges such as guacamole, salsas, tamales ect. We have bought their tamales a couple of times andthey were/are good. We decided this time around that we would go and dine in for lunch. We had chips and salsa to start, thesalsa Verde and chips were very good, my hubby ordered the pork tamales, rice, and beans plate, I ordered the menudo, I don'tlike complaining, I know people work hard to produce tasty and delicious food to serve customers, but the menudo missed the markbig time. It was flavorless, the broth had no depth of any flavor, the menudo meat was not cooked properly, I also had a pieceof pata that I could not eat because it was not cooked properly, and the meat on it was super tough. The condiments that you getfor the menudo, cilantro, onions were old looking, I could not use it. I tried to put as much lime juice as I could so I couldeat it, but I could not, it was just not good. You know maybe they just had a bad day with this pot, or at least that is what Ihope. I have years of experience making menudo, and I learned from the best, I married into a family who's Mexican food isINCREDIBLE so I feel my rating is fair. The tamales were good, I did not taste the rice and beans, but my hubby ate all of hisfood. We will eventually eat there again, I don't believe one bad experience means you cannot try again. Stopped by and ordered a Enchilada plate to go. While I waited I had a house margarita on the rocks. Margarita was awful- all... margarita mix. My enchilada (barbacoa) plate I couldn?t even eat. Barbacoa meat was hard and dry. $25 dinner was a bust. Istopped in at 7pm and they closed at 8pm so maybe that?s why but who knows. Hope everyone else has better luck than I do. Read more
